    2:17, information are WRONG!

    Facts:
The original NPA members of about 30 were peasant farmers and from remnants of huks/People’s Liberation Army (PKP-1930) and their leader was Bernabe Buscayno. It grown in Aquino’s Tarlac province because the Cojuangco’s ownership of Hacienda Luisita has had deprived their peasant farmers their just compensation and rights to own farm land in 1968. The Hacienda Luisita was under the agreement with government that Cojuangco family will hold the farm lands for only 10 years (1958 to 1968). In 1968, the Cojuangco family’s greed and refused to distribute the farm lands to farmers which led them to rebel. Marcos government filed a civil case against the Cojuangco for not honoring the 1958 land distribution agreement with government. Of course, Benigno Aquino sided with his father in-law Jose Cojuangco Sr. The irony was the peasant farmers were misled that the farm lands were not distributed because of Marcos government. Benigno Aquino secretly sided with the NPA/peasant farmers to gain support, he supported them as they rebel against the government but not against the Cojuangco family. Aquino also secretly supported the merger of NPA with the CPP. Thus, the NPA (the arm force) has had grown strong upon the merger with communist CPP (the brain) of Jose Maria Sison in 1969. The CPP-NPA grew rapidly, not because of poverty, but because of the "Great Rectification Movement" initiated by Sison in 1965. Sison calculated that by creating public chaos (1970 First Quarter Storm, Plaza Miranda Bombing, and assassinations of government forces in provinces, etc), the government will be provoked to respond harshly against the unruly street demonstrators, thus the students will be enticed to join fully with CPP-NPA insurgency movement. Many student members who rebel against Marcos government in the 70’s were members of Kabataang Makabayan (KM) organisation in University of the Philippines, where Sison founded KM in 1965 as he was professor of political science at UP, so he indoctrinated communism to many students.

While the CPP-NPA was creating chaos and armed rebellion against the government, Benigno Aquino and his Liberal Party were busy spreading lies and black propaganda against the Marcos government so they gain public support to win election. So you see the dark side of Benigno Aquino Jr. how he manipulated both the minds of his supporters to gain sympathy and political support to overthrow Marcos government.

    2:43, WRONG Information!

    Facts:
Business mogul Eugenio López Sr. was known to Marcos as high profile political butterfly and the "King Maker" in Philippine politics. From president Osmenia in 1944 until Marcos in 1969, the Lopezes had had withdrawn political support to many past presidents so they would gain business favors from the newly elected president.

To Eugenio Lopez Sr, getting political favors from new president is the best way to be ahead of game in business. So even in 1956, López Sr. pressured president Magsaysay to sell to the López family the ownership of Alto Broadcasting Corporation (ABS) from American founder James Lindenberg and his business partner Judge Antonio Quirino, the brother of President Elpidio Quirino who was defeated by Magsaysay in 1953 election. In 1956, the ABS company merged with Chronicle Broadcasting Network, Inc. (CBN, founded in 1945, the newspaper firm of Lopez Sr.) to form ABS-CBN, hence controlled mass media (newspaper, radio and television).

In 1962, López supported President Macapagal, so they gained favor to acquire the power generating and electricity distribution company Meralco from previous American owners.

In 1965 election, Marcos chose Fernando López to gain the financial support of Eugenio López Sr. They gained favors from government to expand the operations of Meralco (access to loans from public and foreign banks). The war between López Sr and Marcos began right after the election in 1969 when Meralco started increasing the electricity prices, then one of causes of massive inflation rates which increased tuition fees that opposed by many students in 1970 First Quarter Storm street protests. López would not reduce the electricity price because, among other reasons, the peso was devalued in 1970. The peso devaluation was due to adopting the "floating market rate" mandated by new Central Bank law to control the "currency black market". From 1970, the Lópezes began supporting the opposition Liberal Party, especially Benigno Aquino whom eyeing the next presidency. By the influence of mass media, the ABS-CBN has been used by Lópezes to spread black propaganda and lies against any sitting president, to build and create another political king they would choose to win for next election.

In 1965, Jose Maria Sison began the resurgence of communism in Philippines by forming first the Kabataang Makabayan (KM), the communist students organisation in the University of the Philippines.
Sison formed in 1969 the CPP-NPA from sprinter members of PKP-1930 group and had received financial and weapons from China. In 1971, the CPP-NPA bombed the political rally of Liberal party to create chaos so people will blame the bombing on Marcos. Only Benigno Aquino Jr was not there as he used to receive information from many founding members who are from his province in Tarlac. In 1972, Marcos declared Martial law to quell the threat of communism when it was clear that China became involved and helping the CPP-NPA to topple the government. Upon the declaration of Martial Law, the electricity prices was controlled by Marcos to stop the rising inflation rate. In following years until 1976, the low price of electricity had resulted the inability of Meralco to repay the huge debts from its bank creditors. This led Eugenio López Sr to approach Marcos government offering to sell all together the Meralco and ABS-CBN. Marcos government agreed. Take note these companies were not sequestered by Marcos government but were SOLD by Lópezes. Marcos government assumed ownership and PAID all the debts of these companies. Eugenio López Jr case was civil and rebellion, political destabilisation against government, and conniving with Benigno Aquino to bring down Marcos. Marcos fought back to them, tooth and nail, to end the vicious cycle of the Lopezes’ controlling the Philippine politics.

In 1986, during Aquino administration, Meralco and ABS-CBN are given FREE to López family without paying a single cent, not even all the debts paid by government for them, not a single cent of millions $$ investments made by Marcos government. López family’s power as KING MAKER has been reinstated by Aquino in 1986!

1:51, Marcos declared Martial Law in 1972 to protect the national security since China had became involved and supported the CCP-NPA from 1969 to 1975.

3:15, bullshit lies from creator of this video! All are wrong facts just to discredit the Marcos family.

After the expiration of Laurel-Langley Agreement in 1974, all the 51% ownership of public utilities and natural resources were assumed by the state, NOT by Marcos family, but the ownerships were by the Philippine government. These companies became majority Government OWNED and Controlled Corporations (GOCC) or nationalised companies, and where the government sourced the bulk of its income for public services.

Go to Philippine SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) and check the true facts there!

    1:55 "and was eventually exiled".
WRONG to say he was exiled! he was not forced to exile.

    Fact:
Mr. Marcos NEVER forced Mr Aquino to exile in the US.
Mr Aquino’s stay in the US America from 1980 to 1983 was of HIS OWN WILL and personally requested from the Phil government to take chance that his heart illness should be medically treated in the US or else he will just choose to remain in military jail if his request is not granted. His travel request was granted immediately on the same day by Mr. Marcos.

After his heart surgery, and to recover his health, Mr Aquino also requested from Phil government to grant him and his family an indefinite stay in the US.
