We have explored hundreds of minines all over north America. Going places nobody else would dare to go. We do this for two main reasons. First to document the mines for future generation. Mines are being filled in and collapsing at an alarming rate. Second to collect artifacs for our museum. The museum is open to the public and we don’t charge an admission. Come for a visit! https://www.google.com/maps/place/Exploring+Abandoned+Mines+Museum/@49.0112021,-118.4203015,15z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0xe6442ed6471acf4!8m2!3d49.0112021!4d-118.4203015

27.12 – you start to feel the beer? LOL. Beer is like wine, the older the better, I would have drunk that bottle of beer too, Frank :). Nice video, very massive mine. Did you find some emeralds in that mine, or did they take it all?

  3. @benmaier7169 on December 25, 2023 at 8:23 am

I’m pretty sure that beer was an offering to whatever lives in the mines. Actually now that I think about it it was probably meant for Frank. Man basically lives in mines already.

The Jersey Emerald property is located in southeastern British Columbia at latitude 49°06’N and longitude 117°13’W (NTS 82F/3), 10 kilometres southeast of the community of Salmo. The claims cover an area of approximately 4,000 hectares between the Salmo River on the west and the top of Nevada Mountain on the east, and are bounded by Hidden Creek on the north and the South Salmo River on the south. Year round gravel roads and power lines cross the property and water is plentiful. Underground workings of the historic Jersey and Dodger deposits are in excellent condition allowing for future underground access with little rehabilitation. http://www.apxresources.com/s/Jersey_Emerald.asp

@Exploring Abandoned Mines After drinking that 15 yr old beer, you’d be walking behind me for a little while!!!!!!! lol Awesome explore Frank!!!!!!! Several parts of that mine look like they’d be stable enough for someone to live in for quite some time.

  30. @planetlaird9752 on December 25, 2023 at 8:52 am

Love you and your vids, friend. When you forget an item, I always think, why not make out a list of essential gear and then just check every item off before your depart?

Good Idea using the side by side, glad i thought of it

  41. @johnizitchiforalongtime on December 25, 2023 at 9:03 am

This sure is truly a huge huge mine, since it was edited for us sakes. Back to the buggy, side by side. That beer hasn’t made you ill, did it. Not bad for being 15 years old. Huge Ballroom. Easy come, easy go.

  42. @richardbrobeck2384 on December 25, 2023 at 9:04 am

  44. @DiaryofaGrimReaper on December 25, 2023 at 9:09 am

I distinctly remember warning you about finding cold beers and bologna sandwiches in mines. Those packrats are looking for your weakness.

  45. @naui_diver9290 on December 25, 2023 at 9:10 am

You think about all the men that worked in that mine for all the years they did,all the life these mines had and now they’re just quiet dark and lifeless…kinda sad.
