Have you heard about the skaneah,. ? A wolf like , lion sized creature , who lets out a loud screech in the dead of night or when heโs hunting? He wears a wolf skull upon his head, scruffy, black, mainline hair on his neck, and several pieces of fur from deer and such. Sometimes I can hear him screeching from across the lake, it sound a little bit like a woman screaming but also like a screech of a wild, angry, bird. If you see him, RUN, he *WILL* kill you if he can. He is known as a very unpopular โlegendโ of Columbia, cannot be found on google, he is real, I have seen him. Be careful

I wonder if there are any unknown haunts in my hometown of Boiling Springs, SC. Before it became a bustling place full of traffic and restaurants
I live 10 mins from Buncombe Rd.. b een going here all my life even take me kids here a few times a year. lol never saw anything. But go toward Union there’s old Rosehill Plantation. Now thats haunted. My husband , son, and myself have had amazing experiences. Lights on the car flickering, seeing a fog figure on a clear summer night , and seeing a black figure standing at the Plantation sign. Plan on going back this coming weekend.

You are a perfect storyteller!! Good job. ๐
Plat eyes and wampus cats are the most dangerous creatures in SC ‘s woods….. They especially hunt for yankees who mispronounce the names and places in this video………
So you telling me Barry sanders was in south Carolina and out ran ghost hound. That prolly the story they used for him to get into the nfl
Me too
Edisto is a favorite spot of mine. I once went to the tomb of Julia Legare. Itโs an eerie place. Felt a little sick to my stomach.
I mean this is scary but good learning
I’m from NC & a Lions fan, so I know it couldn’t have been THE Barry Sanders, b/c #20 would’ve ran that ghost dog to another death!!
My Grandmother was almost buried alive when she was 5. The doctor who came to the house declared her dead and 3 days later she awoke inside the hearse less than half a mile from the cemetery. Then years later on halloween night, her 6 month old son Jason went to sleep in a very similar comma, again the doctor pronounced death.
She swore until the day she died that the baby never got cold or stiff and was buried alive. (the house was heated solely by a wood stove in the kitchen, so the body should have cooled rapidly but never did)
For the rest of her life, she was plagued by poltergeist activity, and moving every few months trying to escape it. Then some years ago I saw a report that described it as a rare condition that mimicked SIDS in young children where young children will fall into a deep comma, and unfortunately many children WERE buried alive.
This voice is NOT scary. .
Yeet me toi
Thanks for sharing
I live in PA and I love hearing about urban legends. I grew up in NY near White Plains. We had the urban legend of Buckout Rd. I also lived near the town of Sleepy Hollow of the headless horseman fame. If you go to the cemetery there you will see the headstone of a witch named Huldi.
Has anyone ever heard of go pa’s place and witches road in Walhalla SC? I heard it was really haunted
I live in union county lol

I don’t believe that lil girl was believed to be dead. I know if I lost a small child I’d be at that mausoleum rather often in the beginning. I find it hard to believe they wouldnt open it until yearsssss later.
