I Meet THE HOOVER BOYS & find GOLD on our Maryland Road Trip Pt 1
Part 1 of our road trip to Baltimore to see family, metal detect and attend the meeting of the ‘Maryland Free State Treasure Club’
where I meet THE HOOVER BOYS (well, 3 of the 5) and get my Gold Ring I found earlier that day tested by Brad Johns! Everyone at the meeting greeted me with open arms and treated me as one of their own!

Hi Rob…. I see you stopped at Nottingham Apts in Baltimore, I grew up at the bottom of the hill from here, less the 150 from where you were standing…. The lot you were on was once the most famous Rose Grower in the country, JOHN COOK aka Cooks Lane…. He was the gardner to the Who’s Who of Baltimore. Look Up The Cook Tea Rose. .. I’m also an avid artifact hunter, I found some amazing finds from Arrowheads to coin dating back to the 1730s on this property… Im also a HOOVER BOYS fan! …. Just Saying Hello
