I enjoyed this video!!πππ I had never heard of moss agates, I learned something new today!! Would love to visit Wyoming one day, never been that far west! Loved the scenery of the π
you need to use your pinpointer more before I even dig a shallow target I use that pinpointer it will save your recovery time less time recovering means more time swinging just saying cool finds tho
You are nothing short of fabulous. So happy to have found your videos for the beautiful scenery. Thanks for your hard work and shared experience. Those mossy agates are beautiful now. I can only imagine how they will be after a tumble. You are appreciated.
I’m from Colorado – Wyoming, above 7000, dry, LOTS of UV, means SPF 50 at least.
My problem with metal detecting is always trying to figure the depth of any object any tips?
I once unexpectedly found some of the moss agates eroding from an opal deposit. They were found inclusions of dendritic agate surrounded by opaque white opal! They glow amazing green under black light (long or short wave, one is better than the other). Great video.
Keep going Gin , jackpot on its way π₯π₯π₯π₯
Wow I didn’t know Heaven existed till I saw this goddess. Absolutely beautiful!

Great videos but what they fail to say is ,,,, You’re cuter than a speckled pup snoozing under a red wagon
Another great episode
When I was a kid I lived in Wyoming and my dad would take us out to walk around and look for arrowheads and thumb scrapers. My dad would find them all the time, he had a good eye for that stuff. If you were lucky you could find a small pile of 3 or 4 arrowheads. My family still has two metal detectors my dad bought right before he passed away and this makes me want to get out there and do some metal detecting. I just found your channel and I’m enjoying the videos, thank you for sharing!
Great informative videos
Hi Gin, cool video with the moss Agate do you put them in a rock tumbler to polish them. And if you get a wind sock for your mic it would help in windy areas, Can I share your videos on my FB page I have a lot of gold prospector friends and hopefully help to grow your channel.
Thank you gracious lady that was a fun adventure. The horned toad is actually a lizard with is exoskeletal plates. They have all but disappeared here in California but I used to catch them a lot when I was a kid now they are gone. The kids here have never seen one thank you from Northern California
It’s Wyoming, it’s windy….
I enjoy your videos. What do you do with the moss agate? Just curious.
hello yes no
Ultimately what do you do with your agates? Thanks for taking us with you.
Prettiest little rock hound I have ever seen.
Love those boots ! like your tats ..
Have you considered hunting for meteorites?? They are quite valuable. Just need to do some research on good areas to hunt. π
Thank you for your video. I am traveling in Wyoming and love to find pretty rocks but have not found a place to look. I love the moss agates you found. You do you find places to go. Thank you
How do you find areas to detect or rock collect? What brand of bag are you using? Thanks!
Lots of agate in Tennessee
Some cool finds well done
Rattlesnakes oh plenty, Joel
I love watching your videos. I do a little metal detecting myself but have never found anything good yet. I love to rockhound and really enjoyed watching this video of you. Hard to find a woman that enjoys rockhounding as I do. Keep hunting and stay beautiful!!
Tell me more about that tool belt!
Iβm using an old carpenters belt but the pockets arenβt very deep and my finds tend to fall out when I bend down.
A very nice haul of agates. What are your plans for them?
Sorry canβt watch this one but the metal detector constantly buzzing in the background but I watch your other videos
Wow watching the video made me think of my early teens when I lived in Wyoming gathering those moss agets back then I didn’t know what they were

Great finds, I’ve always got my eyes peeled for rocks as well. I detect up in Wyoming quite often, such an awesome state.
Hello good video.
Thank you
Those agates are amazing! I’ve been beach scouring for years and years for them, and in 2 minutes the one’s you’ve found blow mine away. Good eye!
Wyoming my favorite place and metal detector π
you should come to the UK you will love it
You need a pinpointer
Question, do you have to get permission to go like out in the desert and the places to go in the different states? Also how do you find places to go? Just curious π
You have a 50 caliber Machine gun likk.
Wow. Listening to that wind reminds me one of the reasons I left Wyoming!
I’ve spent endless days hunting for jade in central Wyoming. Far more common than jade or Sweetwater agates are those brass shell casings, steel belt binders and lead bullets. The whole desert within twenty miles of the Sweetwater Rocks is littered with them. If you’re detecting for artifacts, you’ll find lots of them in that area! You can easily find enough in a single day hunting the Granite Mountains to reconstruct a foot-long belt of shells, though most of the bullets were deformed when they hit the rocks. You can find a few bullets that are still intact in their original shape, and fit right back into the tips of the spent casings. You don’t even need a detector to find the casings and belt binders: there are millions of them laying around on the surface.
Sadly, you’ll find far fewer Sweetwater agates or chunks of jade! That just adds to the excitement when you DO find what you’re looking for. π
I grew up there and have picked up barrels full of bullet casings and belt clips
That is a fantastic collection of agates, for just two days hunting! Your friend sent you to a great area!
going through you tube vids I found this one thanks for sharing, also what do you do with the agates
