Detecting the old lost gold rush town of Chena Alaska on it's 119 year anniversary
August 26th is the 119th year since 2 men stood on the banks of the Tanana river watching E T Barnett go up the Chena river to establish Fairbanks
the 2 men started the town of Chena.
That boot looks like the sole of the boots the men would wear when running logs on the river.
Which metal detecter do you really like the best…
Has fall already started?
Wow. 119 years? That’s a very long time ago.😲
some nice goodies in there, liked the coin and the ink👍 figured those are strap latches/tiedowns for a trailer.. anyone find your chest this summer?
I love your channel! Through I have to admit, I am always looking for bears, especially when your head is down. I recently got an inkwell from Exploring Alabama’s big bottle dig. Do you ever get requests for "souvenirs"? I got a Fisher last year, but my mobility was too impaired.
The old part of the top of the boot and the bottom of the shoe is probably the whole boot lol
Love hearing this history!!
Love the history lesson. 👍 video as always

Great video love the history lesson. You had some interesting finds. Enjoyed watching. 👍
Nice bit of history! Nice finds thanks for sharing!
I’m a little behind on some of the relic videos but I have to say thank you for all that amazing history. I don’t know how some people don’t have appreciation for the history of where they live and all the great people before we were even alive. I’m living in Boston right now and trust me, we have lots of history and places to explore! I’d love to straight up move up to AK because I need a break from the Lower 48 and there’s so much to explore and take photos of! Thanks again for sharing!
Some nice finds and watch out for those bees nests!
Hey Keith its Alden (Erin’s son) I just wanted to say hi and I love your videos
