Alaska Metal Detecting – Anchorage Playground/Tot Lot – May 22nd 2014
Metal detecting at Jade’s Park playground/tot lot in Anchorage Alaska. Used my Fisher F2 and Garrett Pro Pointer. No big treasure found, only a few clad coins. Had fun as usual though. There was quite a bit of smoke in the air from wildfires in the southcentral part of the state.
You can find a lot of treasures, at a jungle gym. I have found rings there and even a 1945 wheat penny, A good place to find some quick change for coffee. Good luck on your next hunt……Frank
