It’s not just the ( Carolina slate belt) but also the kings mountain belt and other scattered spots outside of the 2 geologic belts. Hello from sc
I spent 2 days out at Diamond Hill this May and scored a bunch of nice skeletal crystals. Only 1 smoky amethyst, but it was a humdinger of a find!!!! https://youtu.be/_7qjr_PUdI0
Nice! I live in upstate SC and had no idea that you could find tourmaline in this area! Thanks for the video!

Hey y’all, glad you could come down south. I live about an hour east of where you were digging. Looks like y’all had a great time.
Could you do a video like this for North Carolina? I live in the slate belt and I’m trying to determine if I have gold or not. I have what I think is indicators but I’m not sure and I’m having trouble finding information on NC other than Reeds gold mine. Feel free to email me if you would like, I could show you a few pics of the geology of the land for you to see. Thanks for the great video!
