I watched a livestream from Cedar Key during the storm. I am so sorry I never took time to stay at the Faraway Inn.
It really is crazy to build a straw or stick house in a wolf prone area.

And just so you know, the government doesn’t show up for at least a week. The local fire dept and the National Forest crews were here to save lives. We still aren’t back together. And my mom has PTSD and panics when ever she smells smoke. If you think it isn’t a competition then you don’t understand capitalism. Our trees burn, no wood. Prices go up. No govt. Support to replace the trees because it take 4 generations to grow these trees and you just waste the lumber on building as that flood every year.

The government aid to North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee is astonishing and shameful: 1. All hurricane aid was transferred to Israel. 2. There is no one to help them. 3. They are arrested if they try to return to their homes, or rescue or bury their relatives, or retrieve their belongings. 4. Government agents occupied all the hotels and people had to stay outside in the cold at the mercy of the hurricane. 5. They went to their houses and it turns out that they are government property and they are giving them to Black Rock for the lithium they found on these properties and people are left homeless on the streets.
