    Sonoyta Sonora is the only place with reliable water between Tucson and Yuma on the Colorado River. There’s a spring in Sonoyta that puts out enough water to form a small stream that flows for about a mile before it sinks back into the desert. It’s an amazing thing to see in the middle of a 230 mile desert and well worth a stop on your way to Rocky Point.
