Treasure is always taken by ghosts and they’ll guard it in it’s place. Many gone crazy after trying to take a treasure. This includes any metal treasure especially gold. You might take thier permission and they give a devide if u r magician.
Ya I had an opertunity to meet him when he was scouting for investers. My boyfriend at the time and I went to a resteraunts in the Bahamas at treasure key and we were seated and waiting for the waitress.
A cross the room at the bar ( the bar tender was scoping people out) I saw this tall guy and I noticed he had a large pendant on a chain around his neck. Well he was seated with his wife right next to our table and he was telling us that he was a treasure hunter and spoke about the ship he was l
Searching for and was talking to us about possibly investing.
My boyfriend was an attorney and a pilot and we were island hoping at the time for a couple of weeks in his piper Aztec twin engine aircraft
. We used to scuba dive and were done with the wild part of the trip and treating ourselves with being back to civilization and a great steak, before we flew back to the US and back to work. .
The pendant that Mel fisher was wearing was a gold deblune. He was very personable and likable
. We had a conversation about a guy from our area that was a treasure hunter and went to federal court for counterfeiting deblunes and silver coins as treasure . He was sent to prison for 5,,, years. The guy had a house at the end of my street and I knew him
. . Mel was upset about it because he said he knew the guy and saw the coins and believed deeply they weren’t fake .
And dang he found itYears later and Published a book " treasure lost and found " really a great story.
He was running out of money when we met him and had many investers. His operation got very rickety and he eventually bought an old barge that capsized during a storm at sea and lost 6 crew members including his young son kane and his wife.
There is much more to my story but oh well.. Years later my now husband and I were on a cruise and stoped at key west and went to the musuim. At the entrance was a life like poster of Mel standing tbere and just as I remembered him.
He has passed away years ago. The artifacts in the museum are awesome with stories about what they were used for.
Florida had treasure trove laws from Iike the 1500
And tried to take everything.
Problem is he had so much money invested and also developed new inventions to move sand to hunt for artifacts.
He only got about 5% of the value of the treasure because of the many investers. Fantastic adventure
The United States government takes half for taxes. To all treasurer hunters. After they try to steal it . Plus the original countries try to take part also .
That gold bar looks exactly like the gold bar that was traded in on pawn stars where the guy had the gold bar that his grandfather forgot about because during the war they made you get rid of all your gold something to that effect so it was a felony at the time to keep it but he hit it for a 100 years
Nope i wouldn’t no matter where it came from it can be melted and still only be gold or silver the fact its old Spanish gold and silver makes no difference to someone with a brain and realizes that $10,000 gold bullion is only actually worth 2500

I met Mel Fisher at his shop in Florida in the Florida Keys he was taking the thousand-dollar Investments which if I had an invested I would have made 100,000 or more and got some of the jewels I did get some silver and Pieces Of Eight from Mel Fisher himself we talked for hours it was an incredible meeting of this guy
My dad did metal detecting, so I remember reading about Mel Fisher in Western & Eastern Treasures when this happened. I remember a story of someone walking along the beach near where it went down, skipping smooth stones into the water. He said he threw in 3 or 4 before he took a second look and realized they were gold coins that had washed up on the shore.
Iβm wearing my Nuestra Senora de Atocha 8 Reale Coin with Emerald as we speak. Minted between 1615 and 1621 when the ship was struck by the first hurricane. The date was cut off in minting but, we know the mint master who produced this coin started in Peru in 1615 and put to death for too many mistakes. This coin has the panels of King Phillips reversed, it is a mistake. A popular theory is that he was dyslexic.
As a kid while visiting Key West Mt parents took me to the museum. A guy greeted us after we entered, and he roped a massive gold link chain around my neck, almost sending me to the ground. The kind gentleman was Mel.
For my 50 birthday I bought myself a little silver ring in key west from their shop. I wear it every day. It makes me smile and think about all the dives I did in the keys
Judas sold out Jesus Christ for thirty pieces of silver! Then later regretted it and tried to give back the silver to the priests who crucified Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Judas went out and hung himself and committed suicide because he knew what he had done.
Any presious metals or jewels turn people into different persons .
Those thirty pieces of silver brought to men and women a better gift worth more than the biggest treasure!
And all you need to do is accept it in the name of Jesus Christ Lord and Savior!
Dont look to this earth for your riches , instead carry your cross for eternal life!
AMEN !!!
This sounds like outer banks
Wreck of the Atosha
the treasure belongs to spain, how can the u.s claim it’s theirs when florida was a part of spain???
They try to take it from them.
That ship belongs to Spain. That gold was the 20% tax revenue of the King of Spain.
I live in key west & the wreckers history is amazing.
The finder was fortunately for him, not black. Otherwise the courts would have found against him, and a prosecutor would demand a prison term for him.
Sometimes I sit and think, about how much I hate the United States government.

The ship they found was called the Atocha.
Nothing is more offensive to a bureaucrat than a working class American pulling ahead.
Im surprised they let them keep it

Ever notice how ancient Gold and gems are so much more beautiful than those produced today?

Only an idiot that clearly doesnβt want their findings would ever dare to report but some people live for fame ig
They changed the laws, if you found it today the government would confiscate it.
For my 50 birthday I bought myself a little silver ring in key west from their shop. I wear it every day. It makes me smile and think about all the dives I did in the keys
This was found, the guy is still poor and Spain now has their treasure.
A Friend Of Mine Showed Me A Piece Of Gold Coin That His Dad And Another Man Found From The Pirate Ship The Whyda That Sank Off Of Cape Cod.
I’ve been there
Melt that shit down and buss me dawn a Cuban
why dont they say where the ship was going and what was going to be purchased with the silver and gold. America almost belonged to Spain
