EP2 Alaska Adventures & Legends // X Overland's The Last Frontier Series

The story continues with the team settled in at Rainy Pass Lodge, Alaska! Clay introduces the team to a ‘national treasure’, a historical legend you’ve never heard about. The younger crew heads off for an Alaska adventure, further into the bush while the ‘young at heart’ stay behind to soak up the Alaska beauty. It’s then time to say goodbye to this incredible place, pick up the trucks, and cross a few more locations off their Overlanding bucket list! The adventures continue as the brothers take on some new water skills and the team settles into Overlanding life in Alaska. #xoverland #alaska #overlanding

Across from Anchor Point is Iliomna Volcano (the mountain showed at 19:36) , and Mt. Redoubt ( the mountain showed at 19:32).
Augustine is south and west of Anchor Point and not shown on this program

Y’all’s videos and stories are the best! So excited to teach my boys this way. Also brought back great memories when I went to Alaska with the Army and got to catch silver salmon! Best fighting fish I’ve ever caught!

Curious where Bucky is actually from. Sparked my interest as I am also 20 miles North of Boston. Also this looks like an amazing trip. Would love to be there and experience something like that with my boys.

The spectacle of four numbskulls rafting down an Alaska River to the tune of "that’s amore" is hilarious

8:32 I am 62, I took my kids backpacking (when they were 10 – 14 in the early 2000s), to Berg Lake in the Mount Robson Park British Columbia #brbadventurer, it was hard and character building. In my mind it was better than sitting at home plugging in another video game all summer. I truly think young people need more adventure. They need to understand if they disconnect from the world of social media the world is actually very quiet and gives you time to think and self develop.

  28. @matthewjohnston1400 on March 6, 2025 at 1:56 am

So far this is a road trip with some glamping and bad philosophizing. Opting for pizza at a local fish shop captures the spirit of adventure of this crew nicely.

  29. @NE_Motorhead on March 6, 2025 at 1:59 am

Ohhh Alaska….sad I was born somewhere else on earth.

  30. @peaceoutvanlife on March 6, 2025 at 2:00 am

Chalked episode 1 up to intros, but 2 isn’t much better. Lots of yapping vs scenery and adventure

  31. @michaelisherwood9096 on March 6, 2025 at 2:00 am

Warum esst ihr die Fische nicht, sondern werft sie zurück ins Wasser?

  41. @willshumway1627 on March 6, 2025 at 2:14 am

What?!? You stop at anchor point yet don’t talk about the boat launch tractors? Missed opportunity I’d say

  42. @nerdgarage on March 6, 2025 at 2:15 am

The amount of history (and probably monetary value) in Bucky’s "Museum" is immeasurable.

  43. @cr-rb4kj on March 6, 2025 at 2:16 am

Not near enough vehicle/driving footage to be an "Overlanding" video series.

  44. @Shakaonme on March 6, 2025 at 2:17 am

Guys, I have only one question 🙋, why you use cars as these, for what? This machines needs for drive on terrible roads 😅you know?

  46. @pphyto on March 6, 2025 at 2:19 am

    maybe that was a steelhead?

  47. @rossfudd256 on March 6, 2025 at 2:19 am

Clay, farthest west not including the Alaska marine highway, if you included that you can get to Kodiak, or really go wild and go to Cold Bay or Unalaska, Not sure if there is ferry service to Adak. Farthest south on the road system is Haines not Homer. Looks like you had fun though. Cheers!

  48. @fluffer4049 on March 6, 2025 at 2:20 am
