It’s a Native American word and from my understanding of Cherokee pronunciation it would be pronounced KOO-wuh-LEE-guh….I’m honestly not sure so much about the G sound but the i definitely would have an E sound, like the i in ‘police’….Apparently this isn’t how it’s pronounced so I’m a little confused, but then again I’m not fluent in Cherokee and can only say a few words in the language!
