The Oregon Trail Treasure Hunt : Episode 5 – Oregon and Washington

On this installment of the Oregon Trail Treasure Hunt, we visit Oregon, Washington, then back into Oregon. Oregon is misconstrued as a land of just the Emerald Forrest, but it’s so much more than that. With the high deserts in the East and the mountains in the center, Oregon’s geographic location is definitely unique.

Washington is much of the same. Fort Vancouver was the last stop for the homesteaders before the final decent into Oregon City then eventually, the Willamette Valley.
