Ed Huffman loves treasure hunting and exploring in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park right outside of Gatlinburg TN ( Gatlinburg Tennessee ) and Pigeon Forge Tn. Also about 30 minutes from cherokee north carolina.Ed is prepping for this 5 mile backpacking day hike and is going to give you the history of the old sugarlands trail which is a hiking trail in the smoky mountains. The old sugarlands trail is one of the most historic hiking trails in the smokies according to ed. Ed will explore and search for the old structures left behind from the ccc camps and settlers. Ed discovers a lot of these lost treasures in this video including the old clock tower and more. Adventures with Ed Huffman’s Adventure through time begins camping in his rv in Pigeon Forge Tennessee. Ed is an avid treasure hunter and loves the outdoors, rv lifestyle, rv travel, exploration, adventure, treasure hunting and metal detecting.

    out here we call that rock wall in the middle of nowhere "hand Stacked" They are found in gold bearing areas, the old miners moved the rocks out of the waterways (washes here in Arizona), and place them out of the way.
