wow Shane, I consider you the frikkin’ Inspector Clouseau of paydirt samples.
    That was awesome man.
Even tho the paydirt sample I sent you from historical Oroville Dam Spillway stated to not expect any gold,
yet, you found some in the samples I sent you.
In my book, you are one of thee best panners on the planet.

  17. Joe Hastings on January 6, 2023 at 8:45 am

Yep, looks like he flavored it with some electronic slag. He’s giving SD a bad name, not really just himself.

  18. Greg Larson on January 6, 2023 at 8:46 am

You got hosed, I’m from SD right next to Deadwood in fact and I have several claims, lots of nice gold (mostly pickers) I’ll send you some real Black Hills Dirt…

  26. richard leach on January 6, 2023 at 8:52 am

I know this vid is old but, I’d love to see you order one in your name and one with your decoy. And do a comparison.

  27. jmy on January 6, 2023 at 8:53 am

Looks like slag of some type.

  28. Washman 1000 on January 6, 2023 at 8:55 am

Interestingly it doesn’t mention anywhere that there is any guarantee of gold BUT the title says GOLD PAYDIRT. I’m betting the seller doesn’t have much in the way of knowledge and thought the pirite was gold. In other words he was fooled by the fools gold. Great info in your video to share with us viewers for sure though.

  29. Conner Bowman on January 6, 2023 at 8:56 am

    Congrats on 60 thousand
    Edit: from 2019

  30. JustCallMeMeghan on January 6, 2023 at 8:58 am

  31. Lotto Stud on January 6, 2023 at 8:58 am

One of those look like a malted bullet casing or round

  32. Gerry Emery on January 6, 2023 at 8:58 am

I’ve got news for you, Salem is nowhere close to the Black Hills. It’s 352.6 miles east. Unless he is taking it home by the semi load, you’ve been taken for a ride.

  33. Farmers for Truth on January 6, 2023 at 8:58 am

Nice vid shane, pity about the paydirt…💀💣💀

  42. Radio Mandelbrot on January 6, 2023 at 9:09 am

The biggest nugget looks like copper to me, but it’s hard to say on camera

  43. onafixedincome on January 6, 2023 at 9:14 am

Suggest you put things on the table, not on your glove, then zoom in rather than just getting closer. The glove messes up the camera’s sensor so light=white and we can’t really see anything.

  44. Cylas Davidson on January 6, 2023 at 9:14 am

Looks like just a bunch of foundry slag

  45. Finnian Tallon on January 6, 2023 at 9:15 am

I panned this pay dirt a while back and I got some of those odd looking mystery nuggets and I asked him and he said that they were a mix of copper, platinum, gold and aluminum. He called them popcorn nuggets.
Hope I could help, keep these videos coming!

  46. Adam Wolfram on January 6, 2023 at 9:16 am

The large piece of metal looks like a chunk of melted beer can that was pulled out of the campfire the next morning.

  47. Joseph Fraser on January 6, 2023 at 9:16 am

That first nugget looks like a piece of bismuth

  48. Fay Johnson on January 6, 2023 at 9:20 am

  49. Nerdy on January 6, 2023 at 9:20 am

I’m from the black hills and that probably wasn’t from a good spot, there’s so many places up here to find it and I’m surprised that there wasn’t any in it. But if you’d like I could have my friend take me up to a claim and I could get you some actual paydirt with actual gold in it from up here

  50. 1983bartman on January 6, 2023 at 9:21 am

Been subscribed for about six months and love your new stuff, especially the State tour series. Now I’m bingeing all your old videos. Was this video your first homage to MRESTEVE with the " nice" statement lol?
