Lost proof yourself, if you can’t stay put then WALK DOWN HILL. Sooner or later you will find a stream, follow it DOWN HILL. People build along water. You will find a man-made structure of some sort; a fence, road, railroad tracks, power lines, a cabin, etc. Follow them to civilization.
