I enjoy all of your videos. So well done. Good music with clean nicely spoken narrative. Love seeing things from the past . Especially from the Northeast. I am a Florida native. Thank you so much for sharing. 🙌💯

Geology is Biology! Jesus said the Earth is a carcass. We live on a dead thing. You can see Typhon the dragon in the northern desert of Africa and Quetzalcoatl in the North American Continent.

The mystery item has to be a pin, as in decorative jewelry of some sort. Neat!

  15. Cheri Lopez on January 8, 2023 at 9:47 am

Yes, a brooch or a hair adornment. Shoe buckle.

  16. mrs johnson on January 8, 2023 at 9:48 am

The mystery find looks like it may possibly be a woman’s hair barrette.

That same thing happened to me. I was in a spot that i literally gridded over a 4 year period over and over. One day i was playing with the "goldfield" program and hit a shallow target. It was a standing liberty quarter. It is easy to miss a square inch was the lesson i learned that day.

In the early 1900s workers earned about $13 a week for 59 hour work week, 25 cents would be an hours worth of work. Someone probably cried when they realized they lost that quarter.

  22. elilumwow on January 8, 2023 at 9:58 am

I bet the thing in 3 pieces is from a horse harness.

  23. JAMES Kirtley on January 8, 2023 at 10:00 am

Your 1902 barber quarter is from the New Orleans mint and probably about very good or VG condition, making it worth approximately $10.-25. retail, sometimes more depending on how much less friction is applied at recovery sites. In these cases when silver is recovered from watery sediment, it’s going to usually be black from chemical reactions. Most people are eager to rub away all the black staining but, don’t do it. With some patience you could potentially strike a rarity in Barber coinage. You may have found a gold mine, careful about sharing coordinates. Good luck

The Sugar Maple taps brought back great memories of tapping Maple trees with my late Grand Father. I remember how excited I was to check from tree to tree to see how much sap each bucket had in it.

    Got your two cents worth!

  30. LLC76 on January 8, 2023 at 10:08 am

THIS MAY SCHOCK YOU, BUT WE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN SEEING YOU, JUST THE TREASURES

  32. Tammi Burr on January 8, 2023 at 10:09 am

The filigree piece might be a part of a decorative hair comb

  42. Wannabe on January 8, 2023 at 10:18 am

Your philagree piece was probably a hair ornament for a lady

  43. Katrina Taylor on January 8, 2023 at 10:19 am

I think it’s a brooch. Broaches have those 2 prongs on the back of them.

  44. Jel on January 8, 2023 at 10:19 am

Same old Brad i’ve watched for years, perfect tone and great to watch. Thanks for the upload and may your channel continue to grow.

  45. onechattynurse on January 8, 2023 at 10:20 am

At 6:56, I am betting that was part of a picture frame. Love that I stumbled upon your channel!

  46. Jk Perdue on January 8, 2023 at 10:21 am

I just found your channel, enjoyed the show. My opinion on the filigree is it looks like pieces of a hair barrette, add nodules on back side would grip hair.

  47. Christopher Kuefler on January 8, 2023 at 10:21 am

Hardware off a piece of furniture.

I fell down your site as a rabbit hole. You need to do a program on digging into pack rat mounds. They collect shinny things and archeologists find these as, I believe, mounds a thousands of years old. They are easy to find and they will easily move leaving their treasures behind. Just up your alley. They are what looks like a very large hamster with a tail. Mounds 3 to 4 feet tall looking like a dry beaver nest is a good way to describe them.
Send me a link when you search out your first pack rat Mound.
    Thanks, your videos are great
