Update south Carolina you can find gold in many of the creeks. No rules. I’ve never cared to chase colors where there are restrictions. Over 40 years at it. Before Oceana took over Haile gold mine, I ran all around the area. Folks welcomed me onto there land. In North Carolina, I enjoy searching the old mine sites around Indian Trail, Charlotte area, on up around Reeds gold mine area. Finding gold in Union county tickles my gizzard moreso, because that’s where I’m from. Restrictions? That’s up to you individual as far as I’m concerned. I guess it’s the "Rebel" in my blood!
