I have often wondered why they didn’t just dig a tench parallel to beach to bisect the tunnels supplying water to the pits and reduce a lot of water.

The garden pit is now another government interference limiting further work or so we are told. Why didn’t the contractor and brothers forded these possibilities and request a more comprehensive permit for mining rather than repair to existing pit?

Still think the swamp was at one time a pirate cove for load/unloading & hiding.. surprised with all the sonic, lydar, & others. They’ve never found a second tunnel (they rarely built a single entrance to something important)… Lol

I watched this series and with all the digging, someone should have come up with some gold or silver treasure by now. The constant "Could it be…" from the narrator drives me nuts.

OMG has nobody ever watched the SyFy channel. It isn’t treasure buried there. It is something so incredibly evil that it was buried in a way that it would be impossible to recover. Who knows what will be released on mankind if they ever succeed in unearthing it.

I have wondered if they have thought of looking for possible maps or writings on the areas that all these people meaning those that his things there such as Sir Bacon and all others

  11. Bruce Blackerby on January 19, 2023 at 10:37 am

Could it be that they stop saying "could it be"? Anyone watching knows there’s a question associated, unless they have an answer then and there.

  12. Steve Rone on January 19, 2023 at 10:39 am

  16. Fred Simmons on January 19, 2023 at 10:49 am

When you do find the relics, there’s a good possibility you will also find human remains,as dead men tell no tales.

  17. Lee Lahrmann on January 19, 2023 at 10:49 am

The treasure must be some place where it can be accessed quickly and easily. Rick is on to something when he thinks about a side chamber. I think the 90 ft stone was bait to keep digging.

  18. Stephanie Green on January 19, 2023 at 10:52 am

Ain’t nobody got time for that! LoL noo, FR tho…N E 1 wanna drop the spoiler? I don’t wanna watch the whole episode 4 no reason. Again. LoL

After nearly 10 years they’ve found enough wood to rebuild the ship that was buried there. In 10 more years they’ll hopefully find a few gold coins to go with it. Good luck guys!

Have you not milked enough money off of Oak Island yet, there is no treasure.

  23. jmbullington1 on January 19, 2023 at 10:58 am

WHAT IF THE BOOT PIECE WAS PART OF THE "TREASURE". WHAT TYPE OF TREASURE IS DOWN THERE THAT COULD INCLUDE CLOTHING, SHOES, ETC…? WHAT TYPE OF CLOTHING WOULD BE WORTH INCLUDING, AND IN HAVING TO HIDE IT…? JUST THINKIN….

  24. Catherine Craven on January 19, 2023 at 10:59 am

my opinion. CAN’T believe people still watching this ,,, I have found more 1600-1700’s artifacts and coins on the Carolina barrier islands in one day than they have found together ,,,I’m not talking, real treasure hunters don’t plaster all over the network where they find treasure.

  25. Paul Jefferies on January 19, 2023 at 11:01 am

The chunk of glass is not from a Dutch onion. Its from a case gin. Case gin bottles have long flat sides and could be easily packed for shipping. Square nails were used clear up to 1900. Gary should know this but he says 17th century???

  26. Real Love channel on January 19, 2023 at 11:02 am

I have no doubt that the stone road was built to use wagons and horses to easily move heavy objects over the soft ground in that area. My guess is the road will lead to where they tied off the ships and off loaded or loaded the ships.

  27. Gabriel Ruvalcaba on January 19, 2023 at 11:02 am

  30. eekinelsa on January 19, 2023 at 11:06 am

every time Clotworthy says "could it be…" shout NO! and have a drink. Only way to get thru this show

  31. Matt Braley on January 19, 2023 at 11:07 am

The only money pit is this show I’ve found more artifacts in my short 3 years of metal detecting than they have dumping millions

  32. tree501 on January 19, 2023 at 11:07 am

An an ancient coin, bought off eBay, found in Gary’s mailbox and dug up on oak island? Could it be the coin that Jesus Christ tipped the waitress with at the last supper?

  33. Gary Higgins on January 19, 2023 at 11:09 am

There is no money pit and they will not find anything that will pay back what they paid to look for it. These programs like this and also aired on TV is paying more than their loss this is why they will do it until the whole island is dug up and then they will say,, oops, maybe we were wrong? 😂

  34. Nate McKinney on January 19, 2023 at 11:11 am

The cross looks like an above view of the box drain going in to the cross shaped tunneling

  35. Ana Martins on January 19, 2023 at 11:13 am

I hope they find it soon!!! That’s a money pit so far! that’s the truth!!!! I hope they make their money worth of it!!!!!

  36. McStampy on January 19, 2023 at 11:13 am

  47. roxanne Mariniello on January 19, 2023 at 11:26 am

The cost of this operation must. be astronomical…..will the "treasure" actually be enough to cover the cost? Does anyone with the kind of money these guys have to fund this operation actually NEED a treasure?

  48. ESA on January 19, 2023 at 11:26 am

This is like having a periodical meeting to beat on the same dead horse. A total waste of time and actually a bit sick.

  49. Russell Morris on January 19, 2023 at 11:27 am

This won’t get fun again until they continue with the garden shaft. Then they will find what they seek.
