It’s ashamed that the cities or states don’t clean off the banks! Thank you for doing this you need a metal detector who.knows what you will find batteries have to be disposed of a certain way you can’t throw them in the garbage really bad for the environment great job guys!

Also, 6:14 is a valve wheel

That object around 3:28 appears to be an old train coupler. Lots of indicators there of a possible old train track failure? Very interesting to see the finds. Great job on clearing out lots of scrap.

Not so much people throwing things off of the bridge. You’re probably seeing all the crap that gets ripped away from moorings, cabins, homes & boats upriver then deposits on the bank as flood waters recede.

Sections are being drained to remove debris and navigation hazards. It’s not a drought . Its an inspection.

Those iron pieces are very heavy. Yes, I would agree with you about 1500 pounds. I did copper scraping at an unbuilt dam area in the 1990s; I did well with it but it was alot of work and I was in my late 40s.

That pointy thing at 4:31 is the balance indicator of a scale & the round disk at 9:23 is an "add weight" for a balance scale to bring the indicator arm to compensate for loads exceeding the platform range, compensate for the platform weight & bring the indication back into a readable range. It was probably on the old dock when it collapsed. Used for weighing shipping loads to calculate charges or insure cargo received matches the bill of laden.
