Metal Detecting in Lexington and Versailles Kentucky
This is a video of my metal detecting adventure in Lexington and Versailles Kentucky with the Equinox 800 detector. I knocked the front doors of few private homes and received permission to metal detect their yards. The soil in the area was very mineralized as you will see in the video, which made finding targets challenging. The weather was great and the properties were beautiful. I was able to dig up some of the early history of the area including 1820s flat buttons and other various items. I hope you enjoy the video.
I have the Deus and Equinox 800 also. How do you run your Equinox in the iron for relics? Do you like one detector over the other?
