I built a house on 1st line EHS just north of 10 side rd back in 1989. The man I bought the land from ( family has lived there for generations) told me this story in the early 90’s . Part of the story was that when Jesse James was up here , he robbed a bank in Hepworth .
That was very interesting about Jesse and the treasure! Enjoyed that video quite a bit! ATB
There always seems to be a bit of truth behind all rumors it seems , very interesting story on Jesse. I sure hope you can find this treasure Liz it would be life changing….
Hi, Liz. Awesome video. Thank you for sharing with us. Stay safe everyone ๐ค๐ค๐ค
I think your SIDE ROAD numbering might be wrong. If you go to the intersection of Side Road 57 and #9 you will see an old metal sign that says SRD # 03 from about 40 years ago. So all the numbers in the area were previously named differently. Also, if you look at a map from the 1800s there are "many" RIGHT OF WAY roads "planned" but never actually used as roads and were abandoned.
Very cool legend would be a great you tube adventure to pursue this treasure. Also explains why he didnโt get caught by US authorities! Too bad for Jesse thereโs no honor among thieves, that did him in!
P.S. have you heard from another of my favorite md channels NH beach metal detectorist? He hasnโt posted a vid since Jan were all getting worried ๐ thatโs how I found your channel from a 7/2019 link in his. Be well…

My wife is related to Jesse James so does this mean that we inherit it? I think it should
Interesting. It’s a wonder how Jesse hid his gold instead of using it

Great video. Love folk lore like this. Maybe one day a "Canuck Nation = Get Together Hunt" and see if if we can hunt it down. Permission might be a bit of a problem though.
Great resurch Liz,
it reminds me of my step grandfather who immigrated from Greece to Yugoslavia,
His family buried 50 kg of gold coins under their staircase to escape persecution, but they could never return to get there gold coins, I’ve asked people if they know the whereabouts is that house and village but i keep hitting a brick wall,
unfortunately he was killed in the second world war, It remains to be found to this day.
Just imagine finding that gold!
Awesome!!
Such a fantastic video LIz!! What a cool story!!
