They seem to be stylyzed Americana, these coinlike artifacts, etched with a dremmel tool, Some stamped, some molded, but fashioned to look ancient, by a contemporary, (perhaps living) knowledgeable and talented artist, one who knows: history, antiquities and lore ablout art and artifacts
Jesse James likely intercepted this collection from the so called elites robbing Mound City, aka Saint Louis, and he and his gang likely hid the (train robbed) treasure here. Just my own personal theory, of course.

It looks as though whoever did these carvings was a travler about 1500 years ago.
Are this pictures of the lead artifact he said he molded from the original gold ones or are these the lead ones he made from the artifacts he said he melted down and sold. I get he was poor but really your going to melt them all down. Honestly if you’re in a pinch and you discover theses that is not what you are going to do. You might melt one or two in the worst times and make a mold. But not all at once. No way no how. If anything if you can melt mold etc. you would cut the back off I’d them keeping the item intact but have gold to sell. But maybe he is that dumb but I don’t think so.
I really want to believe this is true really but he made it even harder to. The Missouri River runs from Mexico and literally is a corridor to anywhere you want to go in the USA Washington state to new York

I am not far from where this cave is located. From my research, he cashed in an amazing amount of gold after this. How could a man afford double digit millions in just gold alone, then commit forgery? There were many other expensive materials found like ivory. The guy wasn’t rich or well off prior to finding any of it…bottom line is I believe it to be true. But why was it there is my biggest question? There are many ideas as to how & why it got there. Idk but rural Illinois is AMAZING!

The ‘etchings’ are clearly scratched (clumsy & without precision) into rocks yet NO PATINA exists on any image scratching. Why not?
This is because scratching is recent & no passing of time for patina to form. All scratchings look identical in terms of style & depth/height & age.
The likelihood that hundreds of different items from different ages & created by whole different cultures yet all just magically happen to look similar if not identical is simply absurd.

Well considering one of the so called Greek tablets turned out to be a piece of an old tombstone in the history channel s’ unearthed I can’t help but ask myself why all these portraits on these artifacts have the same profile with different hats from different eras and countries. I find it hard to believe any of this is true until Burrows himself can inform the true land owner of it’s whereabouts so he can choose whether or not to excavate with a team of archeologists and geologists . You can’t go around claiming to be the ONLY person who can prove ancient Egyptians came to Illinois If you’re not actually willing to let anyone study the location.

Well I’m certainly NOT capable of knowing who these people were for sure but my best guess is that one day you just might discover they are the people of the Nephites or the people of the Laminates. Those two groups are descendants of I believe Hebrew people from Jerusalem. Read the book of mormon and travel with these people and learn of them. They are by far a very interesting group of people and carry a huge belief of God the Heavenly Father and His Son , Jesus Christ . They were priesthood members down from Abraham himself. I’m not an archaeologist but they looked and peer the artifacts to be from more than one culture if this was meant to support Mormonism I am very much skeptical

I am reading for the first time “The Chronicles of Akakor” and this discovery fits on the story told in that book about the real history of America (North, Central and South), everything just makes sense, the proof is overwhelming, what blew my mind in my research is the megalithic structures discovered in Japan in the 1930’s that I have never heard before and the construction was the same that in Machu Picchu Peru, also in that book it talks about cities built in caves and explains why were they built….

With the Mystic Symbol (going back to at least 1808 on Monhegan Island off the coast of Maine) inscribed on both the Burrows Cave artifacts and the Michigan tablets, I get the solid impression that these artifacts are legit! Are there some frauds? Absolutely, but you can’t have 30-40 thousand fraudulent artifacts. That wouldn’t pass the commonsense test.
This belong to the one of the last numidian kings with the name of JUBA 2 and it was there in between -45bc til -20bc

Absolutely fascinating. Very similar to what was found in South America by Italian priest.
Every single image is a profile? Staring to their left, since shoulders are facing forward? From a variety of eras & cultures…yet all look alike. This is not reasonably believable. At least SOME coins & portraits should be facing the viewer. The single amateur artist who faked all these was obviously unable to render a believable face looking forward.

Amazing how most of the comments are negative, this, if true can be the treasure of Numidian king Juba 2 who was married to Cleopatra Silia of Egypt and also some of ancient Hebrew artefacts of North African Jews if it is the real thing than it is the discovery of the millennium, as it proves that North Africans discovered the new world 1500 years before Columbus, I always suspected anyway.
