What about a ghost sword on the underside? Anyone seen this?
I have 12 with the mitten hand the Denver 1 has fingers the other 12 are Philly and they are mittens
When these first came out, before all the different errors & all, the last "A" in America was tilted downwards and away from the c, but they fixed that, I’ll see if I can go dig one out, bc I kept all of them I got in change and from rolls, bc I liked the fact that they went back to the original Washington (well the one I grew up with) on the obverse & I thought it was cool, so I kept them, now I’m going to have to go through all of them, I’ll let you know what I find, oh yeah but they had parts of stars on the ones with the crooked A, that was my whole point, lol…. On the obverse, I’ve definitely got to go find them now!

How about black stained both sides
The lines going up-and-down that she is talking about is not the sword nor does it have anything to do with it

Is the die clash not what caused up-and-down marks through the sword
I have the same quarter with lines going throughout going diagonally down through out the whole design n also the lettering. I’d like Kno if it’s worth my time 🤔
