It’s been over 300 hundred years since the fleet sank. Since 2004 the county has re-sanded those beaches with tons and tons of imported sand so everything is buried 10 feet down. There are at least 6 or more dreamers who detect that beach every day. Your video is what most people will experience. People come thinking they’re going to find Spanish treasures, but leave disappointed with only a corroded penny and a few bottle caps… good luck

Beach 2 for water and wet sand. When swinging your detector, slow your walking speed, swing over the sand evenly from side to side without bringing up the coil on either end and overlap your swings. This way you don’t miss targets. When using pin point on your Equinox: Swing over your target, back up over the target as you swing over it. When you don’t hear it anymore, hit the pin point feature and slowly swing forward, back over it, till you just hear it. The target will be at the front tip of your coil. Works for me every time. Quick recovery, if you can get it in one scoop. You’ll learn to swing much faster with this method eventually. Good luck. _/ 👍

I have the Nox 800 and there is a guy named Andy Sabisch that put out an excellent book on getting to know the Nox. It’s blue in color. I highly recommend it! Good luck!

It toke me about 5 times out to learn the target ID’s for the nox. Penny is 20-21. Nickel is 12-13. Dime is 28-30. Quarter is 25-30. And gold, silver is all over the place due to size and shape. If you guys are ever out in Sarasota Florida let me know, we can meet up at some good local spots.
