    I’ve previously read that Florida law says they get a cut of any treasure found, but I think it’s only 10-20% I will try to find out and give an update with more details, thanks!

    Ha! That treasure hunter Mel Fischer has a coin shop where they sell pieces from recovered treasure at an insane mark up . . . tourist trap, but I’d love to window shop in it!

    Thanks for watching, I know in the "old world" people are stumbling onto old treasure hoards fairly often, perhaps you and your assistant can pick some good locations for metal detecting . . . in between making awesome fake coin destruction videos of course 😉

    We have got one earmarked but we’ve had a heatwave here, so keep putting it off until it cools a bit as it’s a few miles hiking to get to it.Watch out for our next destruction vid with a donated bar.
