Are you using a compass and keeping a pace count? Sometimes when going from one to another someone was keeping count of their pace. Next question is did they count off on their left or their right or both? Next is how wide is their stride? Was it a short person or a tall person? A person’s pace count is how many steps one takes to complete one meter. The compass is used to get a more precise direction and stay on that path. This is why people have been known to walk in circles. A person can actually stray on their stride left or right so you have to make sure you are going straight with the compass. One leg can be shorter than the other or a person has injured their leg and drifting into the direction of the limp. There are many possibilities though.

Yeah you have to go in that direction and you’re not going to get wet…

Another awesome adventure. I am learning how to recognize clues but now need to learn how to read them before I can find my treasures. Thanks again Jack and crew.

  13. David & Dianna Wyles on May 8, 2023 at 6:35 pm

    Wheres your metal detector?

  14. Land of Saguaros on May 8, 2023 at 6:35 pm

Yup, you guys are walking aimlessly alright. I think you have more time than sense. That 1 guy was comparing a Supposed lizard landmark to a turtle and of course the next thing he finds is an obviously staged turtle. Good workout though.

  17. Natalie Puckett on May 8, 2023 at 6:44 pm

Maybe that was the compass of the sun somehow, like if you could match that to the sun! IDK that just a geuss

  18. jakebrakebill on May 8, 2023 at 6:45 pm

26 minutes isn’t long enough, should be an hour. 👍

  23. ali abdi haj on May 8, 2023 at 6:58 pm

What is the e of those big boulders

  24. Paul Baker on May 8, 2023 at 6:58 pm

I’m no expert. But I do remember seeing a program on petroglyph markers. They said the circle with the line through it. Means water. In that direction. Might be an old spring. Or a wash that use to hold water. 🤔

  28. henry muzgay on May 8, 2023 at 7:05 pm

Jack what is going on with the hole that had a pipe in it

  29. Charlie on May 8, 2023 at 7:05 pm

The Spaniards were famous for petroglyphs carving into rock and using what was available in the low desert but odds are these were waypoints to a mine on higher ground. I’d be looking at the geology of the small peaks surrounding the desert floor.

  30. Bill Blackwell on May 8, 2023 at 7:06 pm

    You guys need a drone!
