Don’t have to drive far. They’ve opened 4 new restaurants in the last year. Same high quality food and service. Gilbert Arizona.

I’m always happily surprised when I get to learn about some american chain from many years past that is still around. So many companies take on debt and try to grow too fast, ultimately imploding – especially when run by greedy people from outside the founder family. Let’s hope Whataburger will stand the test of time.

They are crap ever since the sold out.

3:17 I used to stutter really bad. I was also in school choir. My wonderful speech therapist asked me if I stuttered when I sang. No, I did not. I learned to not stutter by singing what I wanted to say. It worked! I took at least a year but it was pretty bad. I love singing and language and I am so grateful for that wonderful speech therapist ❤

WB has only recently (’20-’23) arrived in the Atlanta area, with one due to open in the town i now live in, Cumming, GA.
Being a Dallas boy, born and raised, for 46 years before coming east, I’m more prepared to be disappointed when it finally opens.
My last Whataburger was nearly eight years ago when I returned home to bury a friend. The order was a little disappointing then.
    Look forward to being wrong.

Whataburge is one of the best things to ever come out of Texas, hands down.

  8. Rockford Files on May 16, 2023 at 7:18 am

Currently anchored out on my Yacht near the Island of Capri Italy…… but a double Whataburger – N-Cheese with Jalapeños …would kick ass right now….

  9. Deborah Boggs on May 16, 2023 at 7:18 am

    They had theme song’
2 all beef patties-special sauce- lettuce- cheese- pickles -onions – on a sesame seed bun😊
If you could sing this all the way through/ without making a mistake
    You got a FREE hamburger!

Being sold to a Chicago firm explains why quality has gone down hill.

  11. Victor Granados on May 16, 2023 at 7:22 am

I think the Headquarters should of been in Corpus Christi since he started his little business there

  12. ChuckinHouston on May 16, 2023 at 7:25 am

I live within walking distance of a very busy Whataburger restaurant 😜

  13. Chuck Z on May 16, 2023 at 7:25 am

East coaster, never been to one

  14. Brettany Renée Blatchley on May 16, 2023 at 7:26 am

Leaving TX soon – we will miss _Whataburger_ …but we will be back in _Cook Out_ territory. 😌💜

  15. XaytheaVeilBuckeye on May 16, 2023 at 7:27 am

I’ve heard of it but we certainly don’t have any Whataburger around here where I live. We got BK, KFC, Taco Hell, McDonalds, Arbys, two subways (one being in walmart) and a few local places I’ve never been to plus a chinese place and Bob Evans (that’s gone downhill since the 90s).

  16. David Hibbard on May 16, 2023 at 7:28 am

Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t Whataburger get sued by DC Comics for using the Wonder Woman W.

  18. Redchevyguy on May 16, 2023 at 7:30 am

I have a Whataburger less than a mile from my house. Never have to drive out of my way to go there lol

  19. Zero Zero on May 16, 2023 at 7:32 am

Whataburger was heavily featured in the new 2023 movie "Vengeance", set in Texas. An actual good movie, too!

  20. Zero Zero on May 16, 2023 at 7:34 am

My husband raved for years about Whataburger. We just moved to Texas. Yeah, I get it now. 👍

  21. David Welsh on May 16, 2023 at 7:35 am

I have the pleasure to have eaten at Wahataburger here in Mississippi, and the burgers are still quite good. There version of the Patty Melt is especially good.

  22. Mike Lutton on May 16, 2023 at 7:37 am

never had one wish i did

  23. big deal on May 16, 2023 at 7:39 am

I’m from Odessa and up until a few years ago, that original "A" frame Whataburger was still there and fully operational… that is of course until the company for some forsaken reason decided to tear it completely down and build the new, boring cookie cutter version of the restraunt in its place. Such a shame

  24. KrysB on May 16, 2023 at 7:42 am

This is the worst burger place of all time.

  25. j jmaxx on May 16, 2023 at 7:43 am

Worked at Whataburger while in high school in Tucson, AZ. It was 1975. I still love a Whataburger today!

  26. Paul Tanner on May 16, 2023 at 7:46 am

    I grew up on WB!

  27. C RFJ on May 16, 2023 at 7:46 am

For those of you who are not Whataburger connoisseurs, ask for your bun toasted. I live in the middle of two and probably have several more within a few miles. Their onion rings are really good too. But definitely toast the bun!

  28. galanie on May 16, 2023 at 7:47 am

I was born and grew up in Corpus Christi. It was a weekly treat for dad to go get the family Whataburgers every saturday night and bring them home for us all to eat at our TV trays and watch Gilligan’s Island. It was a treat as a kid for me to go along and watch the burgers being made as you slid your trays along the rail till you got to the end, got your food, and paid. To this day, the closer you are to Corpus Christi, the better they are. Come up north even as far as Houston, and the quality is just not the same. Still better than places like McDonalds and so on, just not as good. I shiver to think what they must be like in other states. I’ll still go there instead of the other places here in east Texas for a burger.

  29. Candy Renee on May 16, 2023 at 7:48 am

I never heard of this place, but I’ve never been to Texas either. Now I want to go and try it! 😂

  30. Patti Hamilton on May 16, 2023 at 7:50 am

I still have a Glass Nickle mug around here somewhere.

  31. Userx bw on May 16, 2023 at 7:50 am

there coffee isn’t even worth a nickel it is the worst coffee ever . taste like old ass coffee grounds . they use two bags and it still takes like crap they even give you flavored creamers to cover up that shit taste coffee they sell

  32. Dave B on May 16, 2023 at 7:50 am

I live less than two miles from a Whataburger. I’ve never been to that place. But I hear bad things about that store since it opened in 2019 (The year of the sell-out). I’m retired Air Force and have travelled the world many times over. I’ve retired in Texas for the last two years and have yet to step foot into a Whataburger. To me, it has the same weird, odd cult following similar to Chick-Filet-A (Which I also avoid at all costs).

  33. Rick Calderan on May 16, 2023 at 7:51 am

I finally tried one this year while travelling in Nashville, honestly I don’t get the hype. Average burger at best. we had one in Tampa but it bombed and eventually closed. Prefer Steak n Shake and Red Robin for burgers.

  34. S Kirkpatrick on May 16, 2023 at 7:54 am

They just opened up in Nashville. Great report!

  35. Keith Liermann on May 16, 2023 at 7:55 am

    Never seen one

  36. Modine on May 16, 2023 at 7:55 am

I have three in my town and the closest one is a mile from me, so I’ve never driven miles out of my way just to eat at Whataburger. 😁👍

  37. btqy on May 16, 2023 at 7:56 am

Las Vegas to East Texas for a WB.

  38. Jay M on May 16, 2023 at 7:56 am

If you’re from Houston, you say “Waterburger” 😂

  39. Kami LeGier on May 16, 2023 at 7:56 am

Well I live in rural deep east Texas and we have a whataburger in every little town around here. I live 5 miles outside a town of 724 people and the only fast food there is a whataburger!

  40. Tezcatlipoc on May 16, 2023 at 7:59 am

They’re the only place I know of with actual malts and not just shakes. I could live on those things.

  41. ST101 on May 16, 2023 at 8:00 am

Founded on my birthday….23 years prior

Pensacola! I lived there and hated Whataburger! But to each their own 😊

I’ll never forget those A-frame orange and white roofs

  42. bozo on May 16, 2023 at 8:01 am

Used to love Whataburger until a couple of years ago when the defund police idiots were going strong and an employee screamed at a police officer and the manager said he didn’t get involved in politics. The lunatic employee got fired as he should have but the manager was not. I have not spent a dime in Whataburger since. Any company that allows anyone employed there to scream at any customer much less a police officer does not want my business.

  43. Sam on May 16, 2023 at 8:03 am

    What’s whataburger comparable to ?

  44. Janis Young on May 16, 2023 at 8:04 am

The 1st Whataburger I ever ate ws in Cairo IL. It is closed now, but boy, those burgers were good!!

  45. Gary Mathis on May 16, 2023 at 8:05 am

A properly made hamburger is one of the world’s finest foods.

  46. Brad Sims on May 16, 2023 at 8:06 am

Whataburger is the best fast food burger, I’ve had.

  47. Anne Weir on May 16, 2023 at 8:06 am
