I really enjoyed this video, I love the history! Thank you!
Awesome informative video! Thank you for posting!
Driving back to Portland Metro from Idaho last month, I was telling my Son about the "Blue Bucket mine" as we where getting closer to Baker City on I-84.
It started off with talking about how the movie "Paint Your Wagon" was filmed outside of Baker City and not in California where it is based. But that area was a "Gold" area. Talked about the Sumpter Dredge and how that the Powder River was probably the area of the "Blue Bucket mine", and it has already been exploited, just based on satellite images of the Powder River where the Dredge is now a museum.
Love this. These are the legends that make us all want to go dig !!!!
Dude I don’t even know why I thought about the oregon trail, even before I watched the video. It’s crazy dude. 😊
Great video! I think you are getting better with each one you put up!. Love the history, and your use of humor to keep it from being too dry!
Good story well done! Thank you
My deceased mining partner belied the Blue Bucket was somewhere on the upper Owyhee. I have dredged Canyon creek and done very well with lots of nuggets. Where the creek pinches in John Day where the old A and W diner was paid 6 ounces to the shovel full on bedrock at that point.
Great job! Awesome story!
From a native Central Oregonian ….well done! Thank you for another great video. Stay blessed
Awesome presentation on lost history!!! There is a story of lost Gold in Kelly Canyon/ South East Idaho…followed the clues and found some of the markers…If anyone wants to come help me figure it out…we can split a find worth about almost 3 million!!! 🙂
It’s pronounced like Steven.
Where is the part where you found it?
Have you ever thought about wearing a paper bag as you tell the story…would add a bit of excitement to the whole experience and stop people from feeling unwell. Love you uncle x
