People overlook seasonal creeks made by glacier headwaters which do form lakes that disappear seasonally and become pits of bedrock and gold. Gold in its cracks in the ground even the size of walnuts. Some lakes drain and geology has made it a natural gold sluice with steep slopes funneling into it. This is fantastic geology to look for that was overlooked years ago and skipped

The numbered pin would have been to claim your belongings from attended locker room storage.

Wasn’t there a car that was in Lake Lure with a body in it recently. It was a 1964 Pontiac that was emerald green iirc

Great hunt there. Nice finds πŸ™‚ I read through the comments. That guy Dan doesn’t know what click bait is. It is a 100 yr old lake, It had a lot of treasures as I saw it πŸ™‚ It was as I expected your video to be from the thumbnail πŸ™‚ I was hunting the same type of muck in a dried lake here in Maine that fills back up every spring. One guy yapping about me not filling in my muck holes and foot prints. Someone always has to complain.
