Long Lost French Coin Discovered in Massachusetts | Metal Detecting in New England

In the early spring of 2022, we were invited to a piece of land nestled between New Hampshire and Massachusetts, by our good friend Matt. Though the finds were few and far between and patience was wearing thin, this permission would yield the oldest (identified) copper coin I’ve ever discovered while metal detecting in this region.
