I think renting a car would of passed you up where you visited though…So its a Toss up to me….
Awesome! I would much prefer a decent bus system to crush hour on H1. I wanted to see what it would be like with the masking requirements, and it’s fine. Surprisingly uncrowded. $5.50 is a deal – it’s a cheap tour! And it has a bike carrier.
Thank you!
Great video! The bus is a great bargain for getting around but like you said- time can’t be an issue. I think they also have an express bus that runs certain hours of the day to and from certain locations. My question is did you pay on the bus for the 1 day or did you prepay through the app?
Thank for the bus tour short ? .In 1998 my son and I Won a trip to Hawaii and 1st day took the BUS to see what was out there we stopped with car on north side? And found a farm that sold fresh shrimp (cooked ) sat at the table and ATE the whole Bucket so yummy good. Then in 2000 went back with girl friend and did the same and went to the big island both time’s fun trips ALOHA ๐โค๏ธ๐ค

Keep the vids coming! ๐
Now itโs a holo card that will be provided right ? Do you guys know if I can get that on the bus as well
Is they a specific app for the busses??
" On time " ๐ !!! WOW !! Excellent !! I am thinking about taking my mom to Wikiki & Oahu the next January for her birthday ๐ celebration ๐พ!!! My mom lived there briefly in her early 20’s ! I’ve been to Hawaii w/ her & separately before 5 , 6 times total !! But,it’s been a long time ever since !! I personally hate renting cars ( although I love driving & I am an excellent driver !! ) ,especially in a foreign country ,or a place I don’t know so well & their traffic laws !! Lol .I have never driven there ! Driving in L.A.is enough for me ! Lol.She has developed a mobility issue ,so busses will be a good choice for her !! And it’ll save my $$ !! Lol Thank you so much for this one !! ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ค๐ถ๐โ๏ธ๐๐
What are your recommended spots for sunsets? Thank you!
you two are so happy and living life so well together! Thank you for sharing the simple pleasures and also so much everyday Oahu scenery. (The jumping, in the beginning, was a tiny bit dizzying but well worth it. ๐
I bought 1 moth pass for 70 $ you can use all the route, More than that for life time bus pass 280$ I want to do youtube and show you all around the island ๐ Since the gas price is up!!
so they have an app that has the bus routes and times? we are going to honolulu next week and it is really difficult to get a car so we are really considering the bus haha
Always have an umbrella in hand in Hawaii, the random raining will catch you off guard. ๐
Do you buy the pass on the bus?
I’ve been Living here for a few months now, lol I have bus anxiety
I know ! It’s not for 1st timers ,or someone wanna go around the whole island ,or get the most …,but busses are ways to get to a few locations at the cheapest expense on a day & people like us who have already been there before & just wanna get to a couple of specific destinations besides walking around & staying in one area mostly. Also ,busses allow us to do more sightseeing if we get the right seats !! Lol ๐๐ฅ๐๐ค๐ถ๐๐
The bus looks super fun MAHALO ๐บ๐บ๐ค๐คโฅ๏ธโฅ๏ธ
Sounds like a fun rude and scenic too.
What # bus and does it say All Around Island bus?
Last I heard itโs $65 A MONTH for DA BUS pass
Thank you for honestly telling us the truth
The bus does sound cheaper then renting a car. But all those stops really just wastes your time.
You two make good couple.
I saw you flew a DJI drone. I assume you can fly anywhere at beaches, yes?
Yes its really accessible but the only downsides are the bus stops if there was a security guard by every stop then ig itll be safer for riders AND drivers
Visiting Honolulu next week and your video made me feel at ease. Your adventure looked like fun. Enjoy flying your drone. Saludos from Los รngeles, CA โ๏ธ
Does it stop at the cruise port where carnival docks
Great video! Do the buses offer a whole months pass?
Just to confirm , I am visiting Waikiki, all I would have to do is get on the nearest bus to be able to get a day pass right ?
Whats that app called?
When you guys got off at Sea Life Park, you were in Waimฤnalo. That is my hometown… The beach is Makapuโu and Kaupo Bay, Manana Island.
Are the buses wheelchair accessible?
Thanks for the info
Thanks for the info
Nice Video guys. I’m returning to the US in April since my Fiancรฉ has to take her CPA exam, and she can’t take it in Hong Kong.. I’ve been thinking about moving to Hawaii for a couple months.. and I’ve been wondering is it worth it to buy cheap car, or can I get buy just using the bus.
so sad to seeat 8:16 mark that Kaneohe Bakery will be closing on March 28th due to coronavirus economy devastation…almost 70 years in business…
flying a drone is not illegal there where u fry ur drone?
Actually, you can actually ride all the way to North Shore too, not just Kaneohe (take route 60, Kaneohe – Haleiwa)
I loved this!!!!! Iโm thinking about being my umbrella even though it will be September
Great video! I know the bus requires exact change, but can you buy multiple tickets at once for your family? That is, we want four day passes, which totals $22. Can I just pay $22, or do I have to pay $5.50 four times?
How much is a one way ticket?
are busses available on Holidays? Like the 4th July?
Weโve taken the bus every time we visit waikiki… now one way$2.75 to waikiki from airport and its abt one hour … weโbe also used the bus to just ride and go all around d island… hotel parking is expensive at $35 a night so bus for us is the best and day pass if i recall is around $5 a day… yes bus is slow on wekeends…our fave poke place is in waikiki Maguro Brothers… Foodland is good as well
Do the bus have an app to check itinerary?
The easiest way to get to your destination on The Bus is to open your maps app on your iphone and enter your destination you want to go to and press directions and you can see there is a choice to either drive, walk or transit aka (use The Bus) and press on transit and it will show you the nearest bus stop you need to walk to, where to stop the bus if you need to get on a connecting bus aka (a different bus that will take you to your destination), the best way to do it, the fastest route and busses to take and so much more information you might need
Can you take The Bus from the Hyatt Regency Waikiki to the Dole Plantation?
I would still try to do this just for a day though. For a week vacation, why not. Thanks for sharing Lisa and Josh!
hi. can you pls list down the places where you went? thank you
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Thank you for sharing your experience ๐ค๐ผ
Random question…I’ve noticed both of your teeth are super white! Do you have any specific toothpaste or products that you use?
