Paradise, Hawaiian Style
The year was 1966. A little-known series called Star Trek. beams up. Valley of the Dolls is the hot book. Half of all TVs sold are color sets. And in Paradise, Hawaiian Style, Elvis takes to the skies over the island paradise of Kauai. He’s a partner in a helicopter charter service. Romance, naturally, is in the air for the King…but his business may be grounded. A threatened suspension of his pilot’s license means he may have to kiss his assets goodbye.

His movies would be a lot better without his singing.. not that I dont like his voice, it’s just that the songs written for his movies are just too silly. What was very cool to see was his partner Danny played Mr Nakatomi in the first Die Hard movie

The movie with its great scenary and the cultural art of the people of Hawaii is o.k. what is missing is the Elvis of previos movies and a better love story. Not one of his best for Elvis.

It was refreshing to watch a nice movie for once…it was so morally nice and the music and scenery was pretty..I never was attracted to Elvis but this old movie was enjoyable.
