Huge tiger shark bites fisherman’s kayak off coast of Hawaii in wild video | New York Post
A terrifying video shows the moment a massive tiger shark attacked an unsuspecting angler fishing in Hawaii and took a bite out of his kayak.
The wild encounter took place Friday afternoon less than a mile off the coast of O’ahu.
Scott Haraguchi was catching fish in his kayak when he heard what he later described as a “whooshing sound” similar to that of a boat without a motor.
A moment later, the angler’s GoPro camera captured the chilling sight of a huge tiger shark crashing into the kayak and chomping its side.
The impact briefly knocks the kayak off balance, and its startled occupant screams in terror: “a tiger shark rammed me! Holy f—!”

I’ve seen tiger sharks for real one summer on the Pacific Coast. They were enormous like a fleet of torpedoes. No one back then would mess with them if they were around, and I guarantee they let you know they were around. We live in strange times where people want to be seen by the world.

I can say this will never happen to me. I saw the movie Jaws when it first came out and I was about 5 or 6, been terrified of the water ever since.
When you go fishing in a "boat" that’s smaller than the critters, you’re bound to run into some issues.
This is exactly why I go fishing in a lake…..no sharks, no alligators, no stingrays.
