Went down to Oregon chasing a tale of a hermit’s buried money. A great adventure with a good friend but no treasure this time. Will chase it again.

Cool junk! I like the cook junk since its usually what I dig. I dug a hose nozzle that’s 100 yrs old, clean it up and check out the date.
mystery item looks like a tooth of a cutting bar mower//finger bar mower
Cool I would love to find a Reins guide
The mystery item is a sickle-bar mower guard. The mowing bar had a line of these guards and the cutting bar slid back and forth inside them. The guards are protection from anything big getting into the cutting blades. The mowers are used for cutting hay and some versions are still used today, it was the normal way hay was mowed in the early 1900s. Not sure what time period yours is, but it looks mid-1900s. Here is an example of a mule-pulled model http://farm1.staticflickr.com/53/170053255_b571a0aa30_z.jpg
Good job
Congrats to the winner!! Thanks for the consolation prize! I will PM you my mailing info. I love tokens. Nice hunt by the way. That second spot looks promising. Too bad you didn’t have more time there. Thanks again for the contest! GL & HH, Jerimy
Mystery item I used to see those points on my Grandpa"s farm equipment. Thy were replacable when they broke off. machine was pulled behind a horse or tractor having several of those mounted in a row. Like a rake. Cool brass water nozzle I have about 10 of them in my collection now.
that thing at 7:05 looks like a sap tap to me.
Congrats to the 1st place winner. You deserve it man. Okie, thanks for the challenge man and the unexpected token. Keep enjoying the hobby and digging those tokens. HH and GB

Buckle #1. Looks like the buckle I had for my Woodland Camo uniform I had in the AF in the 1990s. Buckle #2 is a dress uniform buckle. You can’t get away from Military! Lol!
