Gold Shaw Farm Grows YouTube Views in Peacham [Stuck in Vermont 613]
Morgan Gold and his wife, Allison Ebrahimi Gold, took a leap of faith in 2016 when they purchased a 150-acre farm in Peacham and swapped their big-city lives in Washington, D.C., for greener pastures. Gold Shaw Farm evolved into a farm-in-progress where they raise geese and ducks for eggs and meat.
Farming is not a lucrative endeavor these days, but Morgan found a way to make it work. Over the past three years, Morgan has become a YouTube celebrity with a channel that documents his animal adventures with his guard dog Toby, barn cats Pablo and Lil, and hissy gander Justin Finch-Fletchley. His videos have more than 11 million views and almost 100,000 subscribers. Morgan publishes videos twice a week and balances a full-time job with farming and video production. His videos get hundreds of comments from fans all over the world, and they provide a wholesome escape from the coronavirus pandemic to many would-be farmers stuck at home. Morgan uses revenue from the YouTube Partner Program to support his farm experiments, and viewers are just glad to be along for the ride.
Eva spent an afternoon at Gold Shaw Farm and got to meet the gang, including some 4-day-old goslings. #cuteoverload

Hi its Gloria from Santa Cruz Ca. I started watching ur Chanel because of this video of the GoldShaw farm with Morgan.
The cogsquad is paying you a visit
Thank you! This is one of my favourite channels. While I don’t want to farm myself, it’s absolutely fascinating watching Morgan and Allison’s adventure.
I just recently found you on YouTube and love your videos. I’m living vicariously through you as my time has past for doing such things. I do have a huge garden and beehives, dogs and large yard with woods. Give me back some years and I would be doing what you are doing. Thanks for lifting my day and yours is the world I want to be living in.
Love this!!! Great work.
big gold shaw farm fan for some time!
I feel a bit like I’m dreaming of living like Morgan. It’s not really that much of an option for us tho. I have hip dysplasia and my partner is permanently disabled. We also kinda rely on not having assets to keep from accumulating too much medical debt as well – they can’t collect SSDI, after all. I suppose if I ever manage to get on my feet and find a decent paying job, I could claim him as a dependent, but I’m worried about how that would affect his SSDI as well as his "expected contributions" for Medicare Disability (which already go up every year despite him having a fixed income that has remained virtually the same for the past 10 years) and that could quickly bankrupt us. This is also why we can’t get married.
If we were to ever become homesteaders, it would have to be as part of a group that could do the heavy lifting and work in the fields (we both use canes and he’s especially unsteady on uneven ground and can’t get off the ground without a chair). If I could stand my parents for more than a few hours, we could move in with them on the acreage they just bought in rural Iowa.
This trend to sit and watch farm video is 100% true lol 🙋🏻♀️
A lot of us would like to be Stuck in Vermont. Gold Shaw Farms is one of my favourites. Thanks for showcasing it.

I watch this channel every week I started about a year ago. So fun to see how Morgan and Alyson are progressing over the years. I don’t farm but I look after a Bird Sanctuary I’m learning along with them. 🙂

His videos are actually positive and gives positivity. He seems so happy all the time. Such a fluffy ball he is. And his Dog is adorable as well. Moreover, it’s so amazing to watch these green land videos. Love from India. 😉🔥♥️😬
Just found you from Gold Shaw Farms, thank you
Toby the dog send me over… lol
He certainly brings a lot of joy and calm to my household
I thought about moving to a farm but it wasn’t for me, I’m still interested in seeing others that do it, and for the same reasons, I care about where my food comes from and how it is raised or grown.
I’m am hoping to start a farm myself. Just that I don’t know how to get started.
Good ol tobydog!
