Metal Detecting Way Up High In The Shenandoah Valley Of Virginia
Metal Detecting Way Up High In The Shenandoah Valley Of Virginia
Please join me, John, and Brad, as we explore a historic farm way up the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia in search of colonial-era artifacts and Civil War artifacts such as bullets, buckles and gold coins.
About Aquachigger:
I enjoy metal detecting for historical items like gold coins, relics, silver coins, and other buried treasures. I also metal detect for gold and silver nuggets and even meteorites. I like to make videos that promote my choice of lifestyle that includes outdoor adventure, metal detecting, yapping, searching for river treasure, SCUBA diving, exploring abandoned places, hiking, caving, caring for animals and pets, and observing the things outdoors that often go unnoticed by most people who are not familiar with outdoor adventures and nature. I keep my Youtube “Aquachigger” channel family-friendly and hope you subscribe if you like my style.
BTW, you can also catch me here, https://www.facebook.com/chiggsarmy/ ,but I may get a little edgier there. FB isn’t a place for kids anyway…lol.

Nice one Chigger!
Great video Chigg be safe and GOD BLESS y’all buddy Amen 🙏. Waiting on the next video
Another interesting hunt, Chigg. Looking forward to part 2. Stay safe and keep digging.
Hey all. Can anyone help me out here? My husband just found this channel, and he is hooked. He was telling me about something in this guy’s personal collection of Civil War relics that is called a "raven’s claw" (or foot or something) that civil war soldiers powered a telegraph with(??)
He was in a rabbit hole at the time so I can’t look at the history for a clue here.
Does anyone have any ideas where/which video I can find this in?
Tia
Hey Chigg, great vid, where can I buy one of those Chigg’s Army hats?
AN OPEN AIR HUNT STILL VERY WELCOME ,THANKS FROM SCOTLAND CHEERS .
ah the shenandoah valley. soo much american history and culture there
Should have played Shenandoah at the end or beginning
The field drop off around the cemetery is wind, water and farming the land. We have hedgerows around our fields that have been farmed since before the war here in Southern Virginia that are the same way. Hedgerow are a couple feet higher than field.
Chigg you better get with it man them boys are finding the great stuff now
Can’t wait for part 2
I hear I-81! This is my territory. Woodstock.
I find it amazing how you can just find old native American relics like that laying on the surface.
Thanks for the videos, love ’em!
COUNTRY ROADS, TAKE ME HOME, TO THE PLACE WHERE I BELONG
Maybe you can play the whole song sometimes I really like the song
Hey Chigg and whoever else is with you
Always enjoy your videos and your knowledge. Thank you.
1st find is a good find sir🤗🇵🇭
Oh Nooo! MOOOOAAARRRR!! OK, I’ll sit right here and wait for part 2.
Is the Town of Front Royal VA. In that General area? Ive deer hunted in that town. Beautiful area !
Lots of corn left in the field. Around me there’s nothing left in the fields and the ducks have kind of stopped passing through.
Guess it’s a law that if you "Dig with Chigg," you have to wear an official Chigg’s Army hat… (?!?)
I’m always watching, and can’t wait until you find your dream artifact, I want to see the look on your face. It’s a shame people are digging up graves, there was a discussion on another person’s vlog today, about the same thing. People are trying to help with finding history on a person’s name, and others are taking this info., and defiling the graves. My 4th Great Mothers grave was dug up in Texas in the 60s, by teenagers, she was one of the first pioneers to Texas Territory.
Nice hunt for you guys stay blessed and see you again on the next episode 👍
High in the Valley…. you Shenandoahians trying to trick me again, but I’m just here for the wobbly kitten.
Yoooo Chigg, been watching you many years now and I know you have answered this question a million times. What brand of magnets 🧲 do you use or promote? Thanks buddy!
We went fishing today, not much luck in Iowa rn. So we went scavaging a bit. Husband says here is a bone. I asked if it was hooman, he just laughed.
just love mud ….. not.
You’re metal detecting signals and stop to show what else you found somewhere else..All over the road these days.
Hey chigg, how’s the sunglasses fence coming?? still even have it? just curious lol Take care buddy!! 👍❤❤
I dug a William Pitt no stamp act button and a George Washington/New Nation button at this site… and about 15 cut pieces of reals… one of them was a script Carlos variety… a cob… a few pewter Spanish colonial buttons with pillars and date… Tons of flat buttons…The Indian fort was about 300 yards north of this spot, just past the Grove of trees…
Hey Chigg, enjoyed the hunt. Looking forward to part 2.
The Woodstock and seven bends area has a lot of Indian stuff. They have even found Stone box graves in the area. Mount Jackson at Meems Bottom used to have a Indian burial mound.
@3:40 yep! I hear Pac-Man on the Atari 2600.
Another great video with historical finds.👍
After watching you for a couple years now I finally got a chance to get a metal detector and I found every beer can in my yard today One of them was a foot deep But it was a lot of fun
13:54 oh my , the "gold coin" again..it never fails
You would find more relics if you wouldn’t flap your lips so much!
~M~
Watch out for Corn Pop out there, I heard he’s a bad dude and he runs some bad boys.
Its spring, any new kitten videos!!
To be continued…. whyyy
Love the valley. We do it from Woodstock to Harrisonburg.
What do you mean ‘less talking’ if you didn’t tell us what you were doing or where you were, how would we know? Silly man, tell us what your doing!
Beau I have to know… Approx how many CW bullets have you dug. I still believe that you should do a multi-vid series where you take us on a tour of your collection. Thanks for sharing man.
Hey Chig, I grew up in the Shenandoah Valley and it is RICH in Civil War history and activity. I don’t know what your location is here but the New Market area would be a great stop if you can get the permissions. Love your content brother!
Is that a cannon ball to your left at 8:05? It looks like it
Thanx Chigg for another great AQUACHIGGER ADVENTURE see ya on the next
