Marshall D. Teach once a member of the white beard pirates. Betrayed his crew and killed his first mate stealing his devil fruit power. He then went on to eventually kill his former captain Whitebeard and steal his devil fruit ability. He is now currently one of the 4 Emperors of the sea.

Actually, Blackbeard is a former member of Whitebeard’s Pirate, but he killed his crewmate and stole the Yami Yami no Mi. During the Marineford War, he killed his former captain, Whitebeard, and somehow stole the Gura Gura no Mi. He became a Warlord of the Sea after that, but it was abolished, and currently he’s a Yonko.
