Hi. Breathe air. God made all. His son, Jesus, pardoned all of all wrongs.
The government’s fake authority even reaches things other people find that they never even intended on looking for.
How odd to find ownership rules which are somehow worse than copywrite laws
Hey please make a video on how international physical currency is transported.
I will never understand the legality of the abandoned shipwrecks act. Its just effectively the government claiming any shipwreck in state lines as theirs without any compensation to owners, and im shocked there wasn’t a legal challenge to it. The laws on abandoned ships are just stipid and obvious, just the state wanting the money to itself. I support any individual or company that hides it and doesn’t tell.
I’m a fan of the ‘finders, keepers’ rule, when it comes to sunk or buried treasure.
12:01 nice
I would love to hear one of these property-grab efforts end with the treasure hunter teplying "fine, if it was yours then I’ll just put it back" and dumping or burying the stuff right where they found it.
This is by far the best channel on YouTube.
Remind yourself of this. If you come across gold jewelry or bricks on a ship, simply melt the gold to create new bricks without stating anything.
Stan, not Sue was sold to the Abu Dhabi Natural History Museum.
This was insane timing for me, as I just got to see Sue YESTERDAY! Was not expecting this!
5:30 Treasure from the depths. 🌊🪙(14:55)
Charleston SOUTH Carolina. Come on, Sam!
Your best video for a long, long time. A definite return to form.
I can’t believe how disgusting Spain is by claiming our silver and gold that they stole. Ridiculous
Just kept thinking of uncharted the whole time, specially uncharted 4
I’d melt that shit down and fucking sell it off
14:18 he says "Sue" instead of "Stan"
Uncharted 5: The Legal Battle
Faith, South Dakota mentioned for the 2nd time in 6 videos⁉
Frankly, I think we ought to do something like give those claiming to be the "rightful owners" of a ship that has sunk (sovereign nations included) something like 50 years to recover/salvage it, after which time anyone is free to salvage it and keep everything for themselves regardless of how ironclad the original ownership would have been. If you’ve left your property at the bottom of the ocean for 50 years — seriously, finders keepers.
FYI, the Black Hills Institute is scummy as hell. There’s other great museums in the area that are much better run and less scammy. Don’t get me wrong, it’s important to this story but I don’t recommend visiting them in real life.
Very like vedio thanks
7:27 "160 Miles off the coast of North Carolina", shows Charleston SC
Did you make this vid because of that movie with that spiderman dude based on video game?
Imagine being a greedy government taking full claim of someone else work and then fining them for it.
Charleston is South Carolina, not North Carolina.
14:18 You said Sue instead of Stan
Very Important Video
I am not a libertarian but damn just taking a pile of silver from a centuries old ship that was destroyed and abandoned from the people the actual put the effort to find and recover the treasure.
7:28 Ah, the great city of Charleston, North Carolina
I sold a business a few years back and have relic and treasure hunt full time over the last three years. I could tell so many stories that would blow your mind. Just as recently as 3 or 4 years ago it seems likely the FBI stole a huge amount of gold found by a father and son who followed the law to the letter. It’s called Dents Run I recommend researching it. The amount of caches from the late 1800s and the Great Depression years that are still waiting to be found is staggering! I search and find said treasures and document every hunt for future content release. Unfortunately I’m not able to do it in real time or I would be knee deep in stuff just like this. To be clear finding treasure is very hard and you should think 50k in a few gold coins in a Mason jar not a pirate chest full of thousands of gold coins. But there are so many small ones and sure a few big ones to be found. If your lucky enough to find one keep you to yourself. Have patience.
Sam, at 14:17 you said Sue instead of Stan. I don’t know if you can fix that at this point……. Great video though. (Just finished 3 seasons of Jet Lagged, did not see dinos in that.)
I drafted all three of the holds, its been tough holding out faith 😅
As usual I loved the video, you’re far and away my favorite content creator. Thank you for all the work and passion you put into these!
One minor potential correction, you showed North Carolina but the city that you used connected line to the ship wreck was Charleston, SC. I think you might have done this one other time, and with it being my hometown I’d love if you give us the shoutout next time it’s relevant lol!
I am sure that the peoples of the countries that fight for ownership of these massive recovered treasures will receive their fair share. 😐
I feel sorry for the Black Hills Institute. They were just trying to do something cool for their community ☹️
how tf did this miss my and apparently a bunch of people’s recommended
Charleston is in South Carolina, not North. That shipwreck was off the SC coast
So we all become more valuable every day it would seem 🤔
when will your deleted israel-palestina video be back?
It isn’t just treasure. Ships sunk in WW2 that are regarded as war graves are being plundered not for treasure but the metals they were built of.
At 7:38 in the video, that’s SOUTH Carolina the shipwreck is 160 miles from, not NORTH Carolina as stated in the video lol
Bring back second thought to nebula!!!!
Honestly, this treasure hunting is fucking bullshit. It’s not worth it not because its insanely hard, it’s not worth it because the greedy fuckers that refuse to retrieve it will sue you to death trying to claim it back.
Correction: around 14 minutes, the t-rex skeleton sold to the Abu Dhabi Natural History Museum is mistakenly referred to as Sue, while it should be Stan 🙂
Treasure hunting is about to be put on steroids with our book and YouTube channel teaching the world how to apply the physics involved in dowsing with the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod, which is the only dowsing rod that precisely gauges all of the dowsing. Read and study our book: The Art of Dowsing – Separating Science from Superstition ($14.95), by Michael Fercik, for leaning how to build and all the physics involved in dowsing with the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod. Then become a professional dowser by practicing the book’s dowsing lessons. Also, learn all the physics involved in dowsing and be entertained by watching our YouTube channel: Tracy and Michael’s Dowsing Adventure.
If they are worried that academia might lose out to for-profit ventures, we should make a system where the fed pays land owners/treasure hunters a fair amount. Don’t they have this in the UK, and that’s why you hear so many stories of random people going out with metal detectors and finding treasure, because they get a cut and the land owner gets a cut and then it goes to the museum?
Wendover, are you feeling okay? I didn’t hear "airline" in this video.
