Where Can I Find Gold In Alaska? (USGS MRDS gold map Summary)
See Where Can I Find Gold In Alaska? USGS MRDS review. This time I look at Alaskan gold prospecting and locations where you can find gold. Check out https://SourdoughMiner.com/GGM/ to get a report on how I make these custon USGS maps and how I use them to start finding more gold.
Prospector Jess,
If you had $200,000 to set up a gold prospecting operation in Alaska where would you start the operation?
Just started looking at selling everything and moving up to Alaska and making a go at being my own boss.
That would give me 200k to set up the the mining and 200k for a place to live.
Yes I have a very good metal detector, and gold hog.
Father was a Geologist he mostly went for oil but also did some gold.
I am serious and would like to talk.
Thanks
Tony
Point worn-zo-nof is how you say it

Enjoy your videos, very informative. We use alaska mapper to search mining claims. Also when looking at anchorage and wasilla it is important to note that one of the largest floods in history occurred there. Lake atna…i think it was called. This lake dumped dumped hundreds of feet of sand and gravel over that area when she let loose about 13000 years ago.

DeVon? You sir have a voice double if this is not you.
Alaska is renown for gold and the wilderness well before discovery found it. We still have a gold prospecting training membership available. See this short video to learn how https://SourdoughMiner.com/GDU/
We had quite a large earthquake pretty well where you were on the map when discussing it (West of Prince of Wales) that registered 7.9 in jan. 2018. That big and no damage because the islands and channels keep tsunami risks to a minimum (aside from local events like Lituya bay). It is hard to imagine that the risk is very high to exceed that quake or have closer proximity due to the way the fault lines run, but Juneau could be hammered as the fault lines run in there. We’re actually really really safe compared to other places.
a link to this map please?
I must of missed Texas, I will go back and look or maybe you changed your mind.
Not that it actually matters but It’s pronounced ( woren – zorff)
Hello, I wanted to have my email address to send you a photo. See if there is gold or pyrite
Great Job Jess, nice video. Glad I retired to Alaska!
So how do I use USGS to find mines by company?
Is it possible to purchase this map?
First Merry Christmas I hope you are staying Healthy and Safe as well as all your viewers.
I looked all through all of your videos to see if you ever did one up for British Columbia and
hopefully Alberta but you haven’t yet. Is there still a possibility you will?
Take care and thank you for sharing.
