Abandoned RailRoad Track Helps Treasure Hunter find Hot Spots for lost Alabama History!
This week the weather was unwilling to cooperate so I decided to research and scout a new area for lost antique treasures! We follow and abandoned RailRoad track until we discover a forgotten Train Car! The creek near the tracks was loaded with glass and we spend some time searching for lost history!
#abandoned #history #discovery
Hi Brandon I have one very similar to the 6minit one Kist perhaps mine the name is embossed
We know the spider in Australia as a jewel spider
I was in Virginia about two weeks ago 90 deg in shorts no socks walking in the woods got bitten by a spider on my ankle turned brown about the size of a 50 cent piece don’t know what kind but it was poisonous
Thankful your scouting wasn’t totally useless. You found some nice keepers and the discovery of that old train car was pretty amazing.
I enjoyed your hunt even if it wasn’t a huge success. 🙂 <3
Walking into spider webs in the dark creeps me out.
yes rain is a double edged sward, it will expose more items, but will delay searching the creeks
with high swift water, that is murky water. nice video Mr Glass.
If that had coal in it, people would of scavenged it.
Enjoy seeing any and everything you do!
All spiders are poisonous , but most are not deadly. It’s a matter of degree .
😊😊😊😊😊
Love the little cream jar or container and all the cork tops. The item with the 1926 date code was really unique. Keep your eyes open for snakes like you said. When you reached under that small over hang I could just imagine a snake Lord forbid making it’s presence known. Love the adventure. Blessings to you, stay safe, cheers. 😊
I grew up in small town Calera and I think it would be a great place to excavate some relics.
Last car of material and it popped off track must have just decided to write it off. Still what an odd thing to stumble upon out in the woods when just walking crazy just crazy.
Love the cornflower blue color. That Art Deco bottle is great looking!
The area I hunt in Arizona is too hot to check out now. Only cooling to the 90’s at night. You are in an interesting area to hunt. Thanks…..
Bummer you are having so much rain hampering your hunts!
I swear i thought i saw a yellow marble next to the RC Cola bottle at 5:03 in the vid?? Dont forget to check those telephone poles for date nails, we love pulling them out of the old railroad ties but have found a couple in telegraph poles too. Great scouting mission, i would definitely go back there and search for more marbles and bottles, awesome blue marble you scored. Did you carry the brick out???
Thank you Brandon for sharing this with me !
Your scouting trip was a fun adventure.Hopefully as said the rain will wash some new old treasures into the creeks.Abandoned train car was a nice surprise.🎉 liked that bottle with the rings. Happy hunting.
Scouting missions are important too.
The broken bottle tops would make a really cool wind chime.
Hopefully sooner than later I can find a spot in North Georgia.. growing up my friends and I did a lot traveling through the woods and I would find lots of old cans some bottles and lots of trash. It amazes me how much trash ends up in the middle no where in the woods.
I hope it dry up soon for you folks it been stink hot and humid here in Philadelphia
Spiders out full force, what about the ticks????
Nice RC cola bottle! RC used to be my favorite.
Wow! I can’t believe you found a bottle you didn’t know what kind it was. I like how you can identify the bottles. Love your videos!!
Nice video Brandon!
send some of that rain up here in TN …always a goodun !
Those spiders could be a good thing for you. Is your wife scared of them ? I’m just kidding, I hope you get into a dump site. I have been digging an old farm dump from the 30s. We have a Heinz ketchup factory in town so you know l have probably dug around 400 of them. I have found some marbles and a few toys, many baby food jars and a ton of perfume bottles. Everything is planted around here so my arrowhead hunting is over until the fall. Good luck.
Scouting in the summer is always full of eating spider webs and catching ticks 🤣
The. Break. Wheel on the end of the train car,I may have handled it at one time.!!!our factory in Racine Wisconsin made those.
Golden Orb Weaver is the spider……….toxic train derailment is the train car😂😂
Nice place for you all to dig I believe. I think past the train you may find your spot. If not no loss really. Have a wonderful week ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Brandon , you should put that train car in your backpack and sell it for scrap .
Sidetracked 😂 nice dad joke without trying
Hey Brandon. My favorite find was the gondola car. I would definitely have tried for a little souvenir to take home from it. Lol
Oh I hate spiders
Orb weaver
Fancy art deco bottle is an old kist soda pop.
You found a spectacular marble, I’d call that a successful outing!
It’s bucketing down, as we say here in Australia 🇦🇺. Lol. 😅
what a great find. i’m talking the rail car

You need to carry a walking stick or small limb to move up and down in front of you as you’re walking to knock those spider webs down lol. We have to do that up here in sc too
The duraglas Era is really good for marbles. That is the beginning to middle of the golden age for American marbles.
All spiders are venomous, it’s just that most are not medically significant.
Even if it’s an off day and you don’t find a whole lot, I just like the fact you’re outside searching stuff. It was also cool that you showed us the tree embankment or whatever the term is.
You didn’t find much, but it’s still pretty cool!
Awesome scouting trip, Brandon, the old railcar is cool! It’s never a bad day when you find a marble!❤
