Abandoned RailRoad Track Helps Treasure Hunter find Hot Spots for lost Alabama History!

This week the weather was unwilling to cooperate so I decided to research and scout a new area for lost antique treasures! We follow and abandoned RailRoad track until we discover a forgotten Train Car! The creek near the tracks was loaded with glass and we spend some time searching for lost history!

Thankful your scouting wasn’t totally useless. You found some nice keepers and the discovery of that old train car was pretty amazing.

Walking into spider webs in the dark creeps me out.

yes rain is a double edged sward, it will expose more items, but will delay searching the creeks
with high swift water, that is murky water. nice video Mr Glass.

If that had coal in it, people would of scavenged it.

Enjoy seeing any and everything you do!

All spiders are poisonous , but most are not deadly. It’s a matter of degree .

Love the little cream jar or container and all the cork tops. The item with the 1926 date code was really unique. Keep your eyes open for snakes like you said. When you reached under that small over hang I could just imagine a snake Lord forbid making it’s presence known. Love the adventure. Blessings to you, stay safe, cheers. 😊

I grew up in small town Calera and I think it would be a great place to excavate some relics.

  14. @hobbyfarmer62 on September 2, 2024 at 5:36 pm

Last car of material and it popped off track must have just decided to write it off. Still what an odd thing to stumble upon out in the woods when just walking crazy just crazy.

The area I hunt in Arizona is too hot to check out now. Only cooling to the 90’s at night. You are in an interesting area to hunt. Thanks…..

I swear i thought i saw a yellow marble next to the RC Cola bottle at 5:03 in the vid?? Dont forget to check those telephone poles for date nails, we love pulling them out of the old railroad ties but have found a couple in telegraph poles too. Great scouting mission, i would definitely go back there and search for more marbles and bottles, awesome blue marble you scored. Did you carry the brick out???

Hopefully sooner than later I can find a spot in North Georgia.. growing up my friends and I did a lot traveling through the woods and I would find lots of old cans some bottles and lots of trash. It amazes me how much trash ends up in the middle no where in the woods.

  29. @davidperry5631 on September 2, 2024 at 5:50 pm

Those spiders could be a good thing for you. Is your wife scared of them ? I’m just kidding, I hope you get into a dump site. I have been digging an old farm dump from the 30s. We have a Heinz ketchup factory in town so you know l have probably dug around 400 of them. I have found some marbles and a few toys, many baby food jars and a ton of perfume bottles. Everything is planted around here so my arrowhead hunting is over until the fall. Good luck.

  34. @eaglerider1826 on September 2, 2024 at 5:51 pm

You need to carry a walking stick or small limb to move up and down in front of you as you’re walking to knock those spider webs down lol. We have to do that up here in sc too

  46. @Ben-Carr on September 2, 2024 at 6:06 pm

The duraglas Era is really good for marbles. That is the beginning to middle of the golden age for American marbles.

  47. @matt_matt757 on September 2, 2024 at 6:07 pm

All spiders are venomous, it’s just that most are not medically significant.

  48. @TooRandomForYou on September 2, 2024 at 6:10 pm

Even if it’s an off day and you don’t find a whole lot, I just like the fact you’re outside searching stuff. It was also cool that you showed us the tree embankment or whatever the term is.

  49. @dennispiciullo8060 on September 2, 2024 at 6:12 pm

You didn’t find much, but it’s still pretty cool!

  50. @cynthiaswearingen1037 on September 2, 2024 at 6:12 pm

Awesome scouting trip, Brandon, the old railcar is cool! It’s never a bad day when you find a marble!❤
