Of course there was no contemporary record of the oft cited initial boys report that is the foundation of the Oak Island "mystery". The main theory that pirates buried treasure in such an elaborate way that would take a mining engineering degree to create the shaft is ludicrous(you cannot spend buried treasure). People have been trampling back and forth over the island for a couple of centuries possibly leaving various items, but some "artifacts" no doubt are plants to lure investors to put money into the search. Also one can hire dubious experts for their blessing. This whole enterprise was thoroughly debunked years ago and the only mystery was that people kept watching this drivel.
I don’t know who is the bigger sucker. Those guys who have been looking for nine seasons or me for watching them for seven seasons before giving up.
