An inventive thief almost gets away with stolen treasure in Goldfield Nevada. Goldfield was a hub of activity in the early 1900s. A miner suffered a terrible injury and smuggled gold in a prosthetic limb. A great flood washed away the town along with 2 safes full of gold coins. The history of Goldfield is great.
