That wreck could be as late as Roman times, over 2,000 years ago.
Shipwreck was visible in the 1980’s. It’s slowly falling apart. Nice detecting
i dont understand if u can’t keep that spoon how can you metal detect and keep those finds just trying to make sense out of that

Close to. Plymouth Mass . Found lots of spoons and lead weights . Tons of nickels . No gold . 2 silver rings and a silver dime .
If one finds old gold coinage or the likes it is best to not say a word about it. Just set up a home smelter and say you found it in your attic or buried in your back yard…, anyway…..
Watching these metal-detecting videos I can’t help but suspect that many are staged for more clicks.
