If u use the word AWESOME again more than five timez in the same video i’ll have to fine u one civil war gold ring. Otherwise great fun, again. Rich/San Jose…p.s. Im jealous u have all the civil war sites and weve none out here in silicon hell home of the $1.3 mil 60 yr old tract home and one bedroom $2000mo. apts.
Making a fortune $3 at a time
A gold pinky ring …..really!!!!!!
May I suggest sandpaper to rub the finish of the delicate design flush down to the metal instead of rubbing the item on your pant leg. Strangely enough I’ve heard hunters who bring a mason jar or plastic container filled with water to loosen the dirt along with a very fine soft brush. But this I would strongly recommend against this as it would preserve the beauty of the item. I believe rubbing it on your pants shows such disrespect towards the young men who fought valiantly as they lay dying on the battlefield. Yes, dig and retrieve these beautiful items for your collections, but please treat them with the respect that they deserve.
Very cool thank you from Ky
Awesome finds👍🏻
Don’t kno where you’re from but ya sound like me…hailing from Mississippi…
WOW!! Amazing finds man👍👍
Must have been a battle there
Scheint alles zu sein was man bei euch findet.
I know! Grind your ugly thumb across the faces of everything!
Willy Arbuckle!!!!
Sooooooo carbine buckle but no carbine ?
What a wonderful selection of items!
Very well done, what always amazes me is how deep some finds are and how shallow others, I imagine its from plowing over the years, but who plows over 12ins deep. Why also, so many dislikes for this video I wonder….
Anyway, great finds and keep up the excellent work.
Nice Cavalry Camp you found. Ive found numerous rings, pocket knives, buttons, Gallagars etc in New Market, TN
One badass thing is that you can ID the items as they come to you.
Two thumbs up
You mite be in a burial ground, don’t get the cursed on you.
PSSST ….Don’t tell the gubmint if you find ANYTHING worth money like gold
Cool stuff. I try to imagine a soldier shaking his head in disbelief that someone would get so excited about finding a button or a bullet. Soldiers wore "pinky rings?!"
Good Job Riley!!
I got your entry and subbed you. Thanks for entering. Keep swingin’!
Hey that’s the ring of Sauron…throw it into the fires of Mordor before you turn into Gollum my precious!
Sure it was… of course you didn’t plant it there to dig it up on video… come on YouTube we gotta do better…
I saw you met old Tracy short
What kind of metal detector are you using ??
What place are good to go in Tennessee Nashville area or Murfreesboro TN
Hey brother. Great vids. I live in Clarksville and always looking for new detecting buddies if you’re ever interested. I run an XP Deus. I’m new to the area (from GA/AL) and haven’t had much luck locally. I’d love to get out there in some good areas with good company. Let me know if you’re interested and I’ll shoot you my email. I also have a channel dedicated to treasure hunting (Forrest Fenn’s treasure) where my email address is posted. Hope to hear fron you.
Just wondering, are you refilling all the holes your making?
That was amazing the things that you found I’m 60 years old and thinking about getting me one of them kind of metal detectors give me something to do in my big yard and my house is from the 1880s never know what I might find
Love the upload my buddy love watching your videos getting there still more to go lol well done buddy nice finds
Tennessee confederate here 😎
Did you ever find any of those little brass percussion caps or have they all eroded into nothingness?
All the minnie balls I found from the BATTLE of Jonesboro Ga. Were right on top of the GROUND. Very little digging
Looks like a ladies gold ring. Never knew there were women infantry in the Civil War
Awesome watching you metal detect civil war items and giving us a description of what you have found. A gold ring too. Fantastic
Great finds. The ring isn’t from the 1800s with it being marked that way. 1906 was when they started marking gold rings that way but I think you already know that.
anyone ever tell you that ya sound just like Forest Gump lmao, run Forest run
dont handle too much lead..It is toxic…great finds!!
I often wonder why these guys don’t carry a small bucket of water and an old toothbrush to wash their finds off instead of wiping it on their clothes?
they didn’t make 18 rt rings back then and they didn’t stamp them like that it would have been stamped with a makers mark
I have another theory for you Riley, that may not be a pinky ring. Sometimes a wife would give her ring to her husband to protect him while he was at war. Just saying, it was a tradition among warriors of multiple cultures including Spartans… Great videos. Thanks!!
I think you put all that there to make it look like you just found *t u kno all answers to every find now that’s sweet
1. Carry a bottle of water and an old toothbrush to clean artefacts do NOT rub them with your fingers! 2. Always wear gloves as there are loads of germs waiting to get into those little cuts/scratches on your hands!
Great hunt Riley. I always dreamed of finding a spot like that.
Enjoyed the video. I have never in my life found anything while detecting. I’m in N.W. Alabama, just moved here some months ago. It’s good to see someone reel in the good stuff!
Beautiful finds! I’m looking to put a group together, and hit a few spots.

Too bad the ring wasn’t inscribed. That find made me very sad…that could have been the soldier’s wife’s ring that he wore on his pinky.
Trouble is folks didn’t have anything to lose back then. If they did they didn’t lose it.
