It belongs to ALL the South American countries that the objects were plundered from, REGARDLESS who found it.

  2. @3PMusic. on December 19, 2023 at 8:08 am

So for 20 30 years we were kept from learning about this ship out of greed. If this loot stolen why can’t we steal back? I think it’s worth fighting for imperialist must pay if not now then when ? Greed these people all involved greedy and have zero interest in returning history to rightful people. It’s sticking seeing these things in museums so far away from its rightful place and owners

This is why Greece doesn’t allow treasure hunters in their waters, or land for that matter. Everywhere you swim or dig in Greece you’ll find some ancient treasures. They’ve already called dibs on 100% of anything found and have made it illegal to touch anything found until archaeologists can survey the area and claim anything of historical significance.

  9. @aniwayamuur6767 on December 19, 2023 at 8:16 am

All that gold belongs to the indigenous people that the colonisers pillaged from

  10. @3PMusic. on December 19, 2023 at 8:18 am

Why can’t a super duper long chain and pulls system be used to link top with bottom? Super thick chain will sink down have it in a huge circle and tie bags of items to chain send up and use machines for pressure N send stuff up all day. If weather n currents OK why can’t this work?

  35. @JoeThornFreedom on December 19, 2023 at 8:43 am

Don’t use the artefacts to fund the retrieval of artifacts. That is so moronic. Here’s your other option leave them on the seafloor for eternity. It’s $20 billion worth. Even if it costs $300 million to retrieve it sell that in artifacts, while the remaining can still be viewed in, however Columbia sees fit.

  36. @bridgebmusic3434 on December 19, 2023 at 8:44 am

The money should go to the families of the dead of that ship thag are very well documented

  37. @LaWholeEnchilada on December 19, 2023 at 8:44 am

Good for Columbia hope they get all the money.

  38. @sinoverlord409 on December 19, 2023 at 8:44 am

This mf definitely inflated the value of this so-called treasure

  39. @user-nu4th8tp8k on December 19, 2023 at 8:46 am

There should be a finders fee especially if the government already agreed to give half the funds. If anyone did the government like that they would be jailed.

  40. @misspuppa on December 19, 2023 at 8:46 am

    Greed

  41. @tommygun80127 on December 19, 2023 at 8:48 am

The poor people in that country won’t see a dime of that money. Check this presidents bank accounts after he leaves office to see where a lot of it went.

  48. @Burnlikediscoinferno on December 19, 2023 at 8:58 am

Colombians are not equipped to handle this kind of treasure.
Their treasures are cocaine and whores. No one care about going to see them in a museum. The sooner they realize what are their natural resources, the quicker they will start becoming a normal civilization

  49. @mdc4677 on December 19, 2023 at 8:58 am

    Belongs to Spain

  50. @wasupfool5692 on December 19, 2023 at 8:59 am

It was a anish ship, so that means it was probably stolen.
