Crab Orchard Kentucky treasure uncovered
Crab Orchard Kentucky treasure uncovered. I had the privilege to use these two 1700’s silver Spanish treasure coins in my video. For security purpose the owner of the coins wishes to remain anonymous. Searching for clues to buried treasure in Kentucky.
Swifts coinage was English crowns with a date in the 1760s according to all the research I have done. Bill Gibson claimed to have found some of swifts treasure as well but I personally saw his coins they were spanish pillar dollars. None if it fits the journal. Unless you research further to find out he was a pirate
I’m from crab orchard ky
Back when i was a kid. An old man named coy ledford always talked about finding silver and gold in jars under a tree where he lived. I know he sold the coins and he was always took care of. But it wasnt in crab orchard.. it was on fall lick road. If you know the area. Dix river back water runs with fall lick creek. He always lived in what is now lester hopkins land. A little block house right next to his. Or a wood house just pass lester. More trees down at the wood house. A big hollow that runs down into fall lick creek. My grand pa always told tells of back when he was little that the moonshiners would hide money like that. I dont know.. but i do know coy died in indiana around his sister. They always said he got 2 million dollars for what he found.
Cool
Crab orchard is a beautiful town
thats not the first treasure find in CO in the 1970s a cival war payroll cache was unearthed on the southwest side of hwy 39 leo’s had the road shut down redirecting traffic around the site, another small cache of 30-40 gold coins was found just outside CO this actually made the paper and i have a pic of the article on my phone.
CO was a booming town in its day and many well off people visit for the medical properties of the crab orchard springs.
i hope you enjoy
