For 450 years, no one knew where the Swedish warship Mars, named for the Roman god of war, sank in the Baltic Sea. The largest vessel of its time went down in a fierce battle in 1564 with more than 800 people aboard. Its discovery in 2011 yielded an astonishingly well-preserved ship, including the seamen who went down with it.

Legend has it that the ship was cursed because its cannons were made using metal from melted-down church bells.

And why does the Titanic being at more than 2 miles below at freezing waters was already rotten in just 84 years?!
Any survivors?
I can do without the comintary with accent…can’t you find anyone that speaks good English??
2:27 lower leg with foot still encased in leather boot/shoe?
RIP brave soldier
*SOS Letland Baltic sea ,Liepaya (Liepaja) -Libava ,mit sea bomb &catastropha ekology!!*
This dude said 50 years??
wish the titanic couldve been preserved alone with the bodies.
Reminds me of that roman boat they found in the dead Sea. Its still got the rope on it!
lol
The most ironic thing is that those are the bodies of ppl who were born while Henry VIII was alive 😮
Why has this not been declared a ‘war grave’? Too old? 🐨🇦🇺
I still think they Shoule have sold the bones
800 MEN on board. Gee, we have to be inclusive here too?
Ghost Ship. That was my first impression. Very haunted & unsettling.
As soon as they say treasure the Gov moves after the team spends millions in recovery and they longer have treasure
Incredible
Silver is a $24 US a once , how is a silver coin worth 30,000 Euro?
Should be left alone, it is a grave site and should be respected as such
No rest in peace here, history prevails long after the dead and the loved ones are gone.
NO MUSIC.
should treat it as a grave and NOT TOUCH
00:58 Dude, you’re not Obama so stop trying so hard.
Lord, have mercy on the souls of these people. In Jesus’ name, we pray . Amen
So if each coin kept a value of 13,000 then x 220,000 coins = 2.8 Billion?
It’s a war grave .It should be left alone.
Crazy they find bones here and not at the Titanic.
Where’s the human remains
It’s sunny
I thought skin and eyes would have deteriorated after so many centuries. I suppose the clean frigid water preserved the bodies. Still, I found the images horrific and disturbing.
All ships like this should be recovered if possible
Should bring it up if it’s that well preserved
Absolutely amazing
That is a gravesite really, not just an interesting wreck. Those were real people with real lives.
I hope everyone keeps that in mind.
I hope those men who went down with their ship got to see another life; maybe on a distance Earth in a galaxy far from here.
how are there still remains from 450 years ago but not at the titanic site?
The question now is could the ship be raised and preserved like the Vasa or Mary Rose
Shows nothing. Just some jaw jackers.
I used to raise approx.30 acres of sweet corn, not only were raccoons a problem but also coyotes would eat the corn as well as a problematic bear!
Why is it that the Sweedes can never say anything..I found the ship yup yup
I wish I had a better brain and lungs. I could of done this career. So amazing to find such pieces of history especially so intact!
I find it hard to take the video seriously if they imply curses are real in the title.
Can they raise the wreck? Put it in a museum. Or no.
😂😂 “dust to dust”. The consciousnesses or light bodies or real selves of those 800 discarded physical bodies are probably somewhere in the Quantum Field laughing at our ignorance about so called “death” and disturbing the dead. 😂 They’re saying the bones in the Baltic were just a part of our outer suits that allowed us to function in that physical environment. Have at it. You can’t disturb us because we’re here not there.
Goonies
Not enough human remains 🤪
It looks as though some are still wearing fabric.
Amazing find 👌
Very cool. Good job on the footage. It’s a time capsule.
How much would you be like to pay if someone ask if they can bury you down there
