I’m English and my Aunt and uncle were too ( both dead now) My uncle had a good job and was very smart so he got chosen to relocate to other countries one for awhile was Ohio.
My aunt was a terrible driver and drove into the back of a police car hehe The police were very nice about it So not all sickos in Ohio
Grew up in Swanton, went to school in Toledo, attended college in Bluffton and Bowling Green, and now live in Ottawa and work in Findlay. I used to have friends who lived in the old Collingwood Art Center in Toledo. They refused to go in the basement alone.

Ohio IS weird. For 20+ years I’ve visited my bf’s family up there and lo! I especially recall the guy who took mid-winter craps on people’s cars. Not deadly but it makes you wonder.
I live near Garrettsville and Ravenna and it was wild to hear them mentioned in this. There are other cases like the Cleveland Torso Murders and the Kirtland Cult that you may want to look into.

wow i hit paydirt finding ur videos! Im about 10 minutes from Willoughby! We all know the folklore of the Melon Head Farm. When i was a teenager in cleve in the 60s, guys would bring us girls out to Lake Co to scare them. Many years later, my husbands aunt-who lived to be 105-told me about that myth. She had horses and they had a vet named Dr Kroh. He was an equine vet and had taken care of her horses. And yes, he lived on Wisner Rd-now there are two parts of Wisner rd because the middle caved in along time ago, and Doc Kroh lived in the section nearer Mentor Rd. There were no children there ever-no "melonheads" It was a simple old farmhouse that he’d let go into disrepair, and yes, it did have a fire. The second person that validated this was my own vet on Munson and Tyler, Dr Bob Sasala. He was an equine vet too because u had cows or horses here in the 50s. And he also was a good friend of Doc Krohs and said they used to laugh about it years later. There used to be a natural spring on Wisner but they built new houses there and that killed the spring. And theres No Trespassing signs there now. So thats the real story from my dr kroh dr sasala and my dear aunt helen. And crybaby bridge? Same thing-its by heath rd where SNPJ farm is-

Ohio is like anywhere else. Tales of hauntings, murders, etc. Some true, some folklore, some just plain BS. Itβs not a perfect place nor the worse.
Back in the 40βs, 50βs, & 60βs, it was a great place to live and raise a family. Sadly it began declining in the 70βs.

Definitely love to learn how messed up my home state truly is. People try to say what is Ohio known for, I say "lots of stuff from the completely messed up to the completely mundane"

Did you know OHIO isn’t a English word, it’s Native American meaning land of many rivers and streams. I grew up there & when they dug a sewer system in our little towns ground I found a beautiful arrowhead. I knew a girl in high school who lived a 1/4 mile away at the edge of a large wooded area in a nice ranch style house. She sat in front of me in typing class. She was 2yrs older than I & she was beautiful! Short bobbed hair cut & always smiled at me as I melted just looking at her beauty. I miss being back home. Ohio β€οΈ
